Lovely stay pristine

Wasn t sure at first as it was all very new and regimented However it really grew on me The pitches are brilliant with water and waste the facilities amazing The entertainment is great but not tacky The only couple of downsides were the wifi was not very good considering the price and although the wash blocks were central if you re pitched up the top it s quite a walk especially for the loo Also the waste recycling was opposite reception at the bottom and that s quite a distance to carry rubbish - you need to take it in the car Otherwise is was fabulous and we had a lovely time so will return

We absolutely LOVE everything about

We absolutely LOVE everything about Love2stay but and it s a huge but THE FOOD and drink For such a beautiful and massive investment the food is below average at best It s a massive shame that each time we have visited over the last 3 years 8-10 times they haven t managed to get there food right it s cheap basic bought in frustratingly below average Why not partner with a local independent in Shrewsbury to take over your kitchens and offer an all day fresh menu that offers the standard of food that represents the clientele that you attract rent the space and at the same time offer brunch fresh seasonalLunches and if you re going to do street food visit Digbeth Dining Club or some other proper SF gig to get ideas As for the drinks Milkshakes CocktailsGin Tonic menuProper artisan coffee that isn t over roasted and bitter Just to reiterate service venue facilities staff are all awesome but please please please do something about the FOOD and drinks

We had a great stay - with a few niggles

We had a great stay Our Woodland lodge was great spacious clean and with a really good outside area with a hot tub Most of the activities were really enjoyable and my kids loved them There were a few niggles The food is terrible the selection is poor and generally unhealthy vegetarian options limited and the coffee well tasted like warm water and milk In an area that s so well known for food it feels like a missed opportunity The lodge was incredibly hot even with the windows open at night They really needs fans or a cooling system Finally the assault course should come with a warning I did it with my two kids I like to think I m fairly fit currently training for a half marathon and do strength training It was so hard and parts of it are really high and seem dangerous It s a full on army style assault course and this should be explained in the booking information My youngest aged 8 ended up crying and dropping out He was terrified My older one virtually gave up as well

We recently stayed at Love 2 Stay and

We recently stayed at Love 2 Stay and had a great time Unfortunately the weather wasn t the best but didn t stop us from enjoying ourselves The activity set up was great with fabulous and friendly instructors such as Ollie Will the Gareth Bale look a like The catering staff were also extremely friendly and helpful I had an amazing massage with Lucy in the spa and would highly recommend a treatment The only criticism I have is the bar restaurant The menu could be better and offer a wider variety in food and drinks choices also to open later and offer evening entertainment Definitely would make a return trip if we were that way

Excellent facilities and pitches

Excellent facilities and pitches The only disappointment was the pizza experience Having seen the proper pizza oven in the cafe we decided to give it a go They used cheap ingredients and thin preformed pizza bases that turned out like flat hard over-baked dough I had a pepperoni and I counted only 6 pieces of pepperoni on a 9in pizza Not worth the 9 50 charged If you re going to use a genuine pizza oven then make real pizzas using real pizza dough

L2S review

We had a great experience at Love2Stay on the touring Pitches Very clean and pristine Pitches are nice and large with a lovely grass area behind we were pitched on the border and nicely distanced from neighbours All pitches are fully serviced just remember your green waste chemical to be able to use the on pitch waste point Touring pitches are the furthest point from all of the facilities The park area and football feild were fantastic for my sons and both had an epic time The beach pool hot tubs and Bio pool were lovely however a later opening time would be nice especially during the summer holidays with lighter evenings There is a lovely dog exercise field and agility set up although this is the furthest distance from the touring pitches meaning we had to walk all the way down through the camp not ideal when all the dogs start barking when campers are trying to relax a separate footpath would be a good idea especially for that late night last toilet break before bed To add a note here the walk down main access to the pool cafe parks etc and up passed the black barns is very smelly with the drains etc I would really not be happy paying all that money to be situated next to or in the tents opposite with that smell 24-7 Toilet and shower facilities were immaculate modern and the best we have ever experienced nice to have a shower without having to press the button for water every 30 seconds The cafe bar area was a let down called in on our way from the park 6 15pm to grab some takeaway pizza and was told they were closing by rude staff despite the menus stating food served until 7 30 and it was fairly busy outside still so not really sure why you would turn business away like that The staff upon checkin were friendly and informative however after that there was very minimal interaction no good mornings or even hellos when passing by they only spoke if you approached them I will say there was a young staff member that had a little kick around whilst leaving the archery area he was cool as stated by my son and it was nice of him to take the time to interact WiFi is very poor you can upgrade for 10 but for the cost to stay here surely you could include the better WiFi for everyone The extra activities need to be booked in advance as they get booked fairly quick I do think that the cinema should be included in the stay instead of the extra 5pp to watch old movies which is a little steep imo Overall a lovely stay and we will visit again in the future sometime

Immaculate site

Immaculate site great for kids of all sizes as has plenty of activities also importantly for us very dog friendly with an off lead agility area which is just about big enough for ball throwing and plenty of pathways to walk along The only thing missing is long dog walks if you want anything more than a 20 minute stroll you ll need to get in the car Handy to have both cafe and Salop Leisure on site good retail park with supermarket 5 minutes drive away so not too handy for motorhomes Dog washing facility brilliant as are human washing facilities Only reason I dropped a star is lack of long dog walks and pubs without getting in car - otherwise a good child and dog friendly site Highly recommended

Beautiful site

Beautiful site touring pitches perfectly flat and a great size Lovely warm pools sand pit and coffee shop Activities a little over priced which puts off families of multiple children but plenty to do do free amazing play areas and large open areas
