When I heard about Masterworks I was excited to enter a new realm of investment opportunities so I created an account had a call with their representative gave them all the numbers they needed and then nothing They are not activating my account for some reason all the while through their internal messaging system I keep getting spammed with opportunities I responded saying my account has not been activated after which I got told that someone would contact me but noone ever did I also tried their support system but no responses there either They say they on average respond within 2 hours but with me they didn t respond after a week Either I m not big enough of a whale investor or something went wrong technically I have no idea and I do not really mind but the complete lack of customer support makes me very hesitant to pursue account activation and trusting them with my money

I keep getting spammed with new offers even though I have unsubscribed MULTIPLE times They simply start sending emails from different accounts This is not appropriate and perhaps not even legal in Europe

Cumbersome App Purchading is difficult and slow

The idea of Masterworks is very interesting and appealing to me I have to say that the execution and the experience of investing has been quite good except for one aspect my payment which I sent several days ago has not been acknowledged from my first two investments However my third investment was fine I think this has to improve

Show me the moneyI invested 15K in an Mark Rothko about five years ago and many other pieces in smaller increments They continue to buy art and never seem to sell any The RothKo has been appraised for 5 less than they paid Whoop-di-doo They got back to me after I posted this review and I have modified it They pointed me to the works they have sold Its amazing what a little communication can do

Chad was very helpful honest and to the point

The staff was really helpful and nice Alanna and Chris and both good at their job Would have been 5 stars but the application was not functioning so I had to logon to the website to complete the purchase

Really great experience so far but it would be great if there were a few more offerings initially there were only four when I signed on

There was a bit of a rush from the salesman to get my first purchase of shares made I guess they don t want people to think too long or too much and not pull the trigger I realized that if you wait 3-10 years to make let s say 22 you have to divide that earnings by the number of years you waited Not a profitable investment
