Mira couldn t be repaired

Mira OK but to my surprise existing shower could not be repaired Local firm said had to be replaced Agreed to that Existing shower had been for terminally ill patient on a seat Never thought of asking for a more powerful shower for myself now patient was dead In retrospect a good firm would have pointed that out to me

The engineer was very professional

Engineer Courtney was very professional And presented information clearly for me to understand the problem The job was done quickly considering the time it took for the appointment to be made -which was one week being without shower facilities However I am happy it s all done and the engineer did a great job

Very quick service

Very quick service on a cancellation extremely efficient engineer Only reason this is not 5 is it is disappointing that a very expensive digital shower from a top brand fails after only six years one year outside the 5 year warranty

Very good mixer

Very good mixer easy to install excellent from a safety aspect Exceptional value for money Only gripe is having a cold shower using this mixer as it runs off the combi boiler

Unit was faulty from delivery Mira engineer attended no quibble replacement of bad unit up and running good service pleasant engineer and best Mira shower so far

Fast delivery and plenty of spares

Delivery was fast and prices not too bad Plenty of spares available for older Mira showers although it can be a little difficult to find the correct shower in the first place For context our showers were installed in 2000 seven years before we bought the house so finding the shower model number was trial and error

I had a new mira electric shower fitted

I had a new mira electric shower fitted about 1 month ago to replace an old one which had stopped working So far so good Although our water pressure isn t great the shower head gives a good throughput of water The temperature is consistent and easily adjusted Best thing is that the shower copes well with sudden changes in water pressure toilet being flushed or tap turned on whilst in the shower The previous model used to go cold - brrrr Only niggle is the green LED on light It s far too bright Almost like a laser beam Apart from that it s great
