If I could give them negative stars I would THEY ARE SCAMMERS They are holding my items hostage when their quote price doubled I paid the difference on spot after the manager on site gave me a managers discount and we signed the bill of lading A generous tip was given for the understanding and I was to get my items later that week But the next day I get an email with a new price minus the discount holding my items hostage until I pay The customer service was HORRIBLE TOOK DAYS ON END BEING ON HOLD FOR THE SAME CONCLUSION A BUNCH OF CROOKS DO NOT BOOK I AM CONVINCED THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE AND VERY GENERIC DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM

still waiting for my stuff they picked up 7 6 they siad one price and then it went from 15k to 24k wth to boot they didnt take all our stuff they said we would get an 18 wheeler the showed up in two box trucks they left more half my stuff my house a 5 bedroom house I am still waiting we called every day it will be put on truck this week end and nothing else we had to rent a truck to move some of what they left behind an drove from New YORK to Texas WTH and no stuff I feel cheated robbed mistreated WHERE ARE MY THINGS WHY DID YOU ALL LIE LIERS seriously they insulted us when they loaded the truck had my kids in tears I am so upsett and why dont people call us back why

If I could give NEGATIVE 5 stars I would Buyer beware I should have read reviews first Quoted 2800 then raised it to 7800 last minute Told them in the beginning it was a 3 bedroom home yet in first quote they assumed only 20 boxes In what sane world There were 70 boxes so they added 100 per box I didn t have any extra 5000 laying around had to cancel Then for 2 weeks they said they refunded my deposit COMPLETE LIES When the money wasn t showing up on my credit card I called almost daily They kept saying it was released Even today they insisted it was So I called my credit card company merged a call with Modest Movers Then only then they admitted they never refunded adamantly said they never told me they refunded They are rude outright liars Most dishonest company I ve ever dealt with I hope others don t make my mistake check reviews before dealing with this company Irritated from Georgia to Texas 8 8 2022

I was asked what day I wanted my items delivered through the telephone consultation where services were coordinated I gave them my move in date expecting my items to be there around the date I chose I was assured that this is the day my items would be at my new home When my items were picked up I heard nothing from anyone until I called to follow up When I followed up I was told that my items would be delivered within 15-21 days after my delivery date That s completely dishonest and I wish I would have just moved my things myself Please just hire the company yourself or contact the third-party they have assigned to you so you can find out their actual delivery eta I wish I never heard of this company

Stay far away They will call the day before your move and tell you that the price is now double what you originally were quoted in your contract The sales people lure you in with a rate that is significantly less than competitors They figure people will just pay the additional amount because what else are you going to do when the move is scheduled for the next day Its particularly despicable that they take advantage of people and make moving which is already stressful even moreso When they tried to increase my rate at the last minute I told them that this is exactly what all the reviews said they would do Anna told me the reviews were irrelevant and that people can just write whatever they want in a review but the reviews were spot on They penalize you for trusting them to honor your original contract Save yourself the frustration and go with another company

They are a broker Sub contract company showed up at 5 30 pm on day of move Said estimate was not correct from Modest Moving Charged 2 5 times more Truck wasn t big enough We had to wait 2 days for second truck Knocked over mailbox Put 3 holes in drywall and 3 ft scratch in hardwood floor Moving from Michigan to Georgia and had to put stuff in storage Asked for delivery 11 29 and my stuff still not loaded on truck as of 12 4 and in Chicago Sub contractor All Moving says we didn t pay premium for guaranteed delivery so they have up to 30 days to deliver Two of the worst companies Do not use

The worst-don t trust them Lied and said they were the moving company when they are the brokers Said they would be there every step of the way but we re not available when the movers arrived and wanted to charge more than twice the original amount saying they had to wrap up everything and had to pay extra for steps to the elevator Crazy Cancelled them on the spot because they were not trustworthy
