Excellent Service

As someone who was trying to break into the tech sector I was so happy I found Moonchaser After prepping for interview after interview I was too burned out to also research and figure out how compensation works in tech My coach Annie was very knowledgable and was very patient while I went through interview loops and a few rejections She was responsive to all my questions and helped me stay motivated while I kept interviewing When I finally got an offer it was nice having someone help me advocate for myself I cannot recommend them enough Thank you Annie and the Moonchaser team

Skeptical at first but well worth it

I considered myself a pretty good negotiator already and had read up on all the tips and tricks so i was a little skeptical initially but figured there was not thing to lose I m glad i tried it Annie and the team are pros They were able to get a realistic anchor number and push for me to get solid counter-offers The co-calling and pre-call coaching was also just what l needed when I got a little flustered during negotiations While i might have been able to get an extra 5 myself Annie helped me get an extra 20 Thanks Annie and Moonchaser

Rora is amazing especially Amir

I worked with Amir at Rora when I was making a big job change and evaluating other companies after an acquisition He helped me so much to understand roles that could be a good fit for me pay across those roles and overall aspects of the general hiring process I m mid-career 10 YOE and I still learned so so much from this I wish I d had this kind of advice much earlier in my career Amir also helped me avoid an opening that was very tempting but a bad fit for me He had amazing foresight and I m very thankful that I had his advice on the whole process not just the negotiations

Great Guidance through the Negotiation Process

I was hesitant to use the service when I came across the Moonchaser website but scheduled a consult anyway to get more details The fee structure is straight forward and Sameer seemed to know my industry well Sameer was great at preparing and guiding me through the negotiation process He knew how much we could push and ask for as well as how far the company would go I was able to get a pretty decent increase over the initial offer considering I didn t have a competing offer in hand Would highly recommend and use again in the future

I would recommend Rora to all PhD grads looking to work in tech My Rora advisor Jordan taught me how to more effectively job search network interview and negotiate She was responsive on WhatsApp and I felt comfortable asking her any and all questions Practicing mock recruiter calls with her really increased my confidence Rora helped me negotiate a higher compensation package in the end than I could have on my own The skills I learned from working with Rora will benefit me throughout the rest of my career

Salary negotiation Up-level

I had checked out Levels but I didn t think the email negotiation approach made sense especially at the manager level After working with Annie Sameer at Moonchaser I m very happy I chose this option Having the detailed scripts and walkthroughs helped me understand what questions to expect and how to respond them The strategies they developed worked to get an up-level from E6 to E7 and then a further increase on top of my initial E7 offer Very happy with the results and I d certainly recommend it
