I have had my MoonPod for about 1 5 years now and its a major disappointment There was difficulty upon arrival and not being properly filled difficulty getting a hold of them to get the product replaced and worse and most telling is during the process I have tried to review their product on their own website and my review never showed up I waited time and even attempted to review again and still Seems they do not have practice of publishing any 1 or 2 star reviews which is probably leading everyone to thinking their product is so great Anyhow 1 5 years later its definitely not worth it I have to wash the outer shell after 1-2 uses because it stretches out so easily and then it is not comfortable and you sink to the ground All materials from the outside skin to the interior materials feel and look super cheap For this price you would expect they would consider a better quality or organic fabric But its the cheapest of cheap looking poly blend

Just another beanbag chair

I found the Moopod to be no different than a cheap beanbag chair you d buy at Walmart It s the same styrofoam balls and not beads You can even tell before you put the cover on that they are styrofoam balls since the moonpod is white and almost see-through It s not worth 300 It was very difficult to return and took 4 emails over 4 days but it went back

Disappointed

I bought my daughter a moonpod for Christmas she loved it for a a few weeks and it has since lost much of its fullness so I requested some more filling which I was emailed that it would be shipped in a few days I waited 2 weeks and no filling came so I emailed about it and was informed I couldn t get any filling for at least 3 months because it is backorder due to high demand yet they continue to sell new merchandise anyway we are very disappointed it was the only thing she asked for and I m not feeling like they appreciated my business and am feeling ripped off

Horrible experience It took over a month for them to realize usps had lost their package I said several times I want a refund They still tried to send me a pillow I wouldn t trust this company with a stuffed animal

Off-gassing toxic fumes is rough

I ve had this for a week or so I agree with many of the other reviews about this seeming pretty cheap but what really bothers me is the off-gassing I guess this is just what you get from EPS expanded polystyrene beadsAlso they delete negative reviews See Drew Gooden video

I have purchased 3 items from this

I have purchased 3 items from this company over 2 years First the arm attachment then the hassock and recently the pillow The first 2 items were ok but the pillow is a complete joke First it took 18 days to arrive I sent several emails asking what was going on and received nonsensical contradictory boilerplate responses I was actually advised to simply refuse the FedEx delivery if I actually wanted a refund Of course it was delivered finally by USPS To top it off the pillow is literally half the size of a standard pillow and they did not send the slip although the instructions included advise to place the pillow in the slipcover upon arrival When I emailed with this info - no response Astoundingly poor customer service and there is no phone number to call

Buyer beware of toxic fumes

These products have the most horrible chemical smell and using them gives me massive headaches I put them in my basement to let them off-gas and they smell as awful as the day I received them Their customer service is terrible They refuse to let me return the products despite the fact that they make me sick I do not routinely write harsh reviews but I want others to be aware of what you are purchasing

I am very unhappy with Moon Pod and think they are a scam I just received the Moon Pod and crescent pillow on July 12 2023 I was disappointed with the product and contacted customer service email only on July 13 2023 When properly sitting in the pod recline in a short time less than a minute I felt the floor very hard on my bottom There was never a feeling of stiffness to the pod as they say is expected at first Also there is no full body support as an expected benefit There is a large empty section of the outer sleeve when the filled pod is sitting up I would estimate there is one fourth to one third of the outer sleeve flopping over the standing pod It appears there is too much space and not enough beads I did not feel like I was floating nor did I feel the lounging relaxing meditating and unwinding feel they claim their product provides I am constantly arranging the pod to find comfort hard on the butt even with the crescent pillow and it isn t easy to get out of the pod My response from Moon Pod to my concerns was Please allow me to raise this concern to my team and I ll get back to you with updates I did not get a timely response so I kept inquiring thru email and was told I am still waiting for my team s response -- please bear with us as we are also catering lots of inquiries That was July 18th It wasn t until I got angry and upset and willing to send the Moon Pod back for a refund that on July 21st they offered Please allow us to remedy this by sending you one free bag of Refill Beads to fluff your pod back up Fluff my Pod back up It came flat Then to return you pay a restocking fee and shipping I am now requesting to talk to someone in the U S that I can speak to They will not provide any contact information I call this a scam The product does not meet what you would expect from their advertisements and their customer service to rectify your issues is not timely You have to wait for them to discuss as a team for a solution to any problems you have I had to wait 8 days Then if you want to return you have 14 days from receiving the product to additionally paying them to send and take the product back You pay restocking and shipping costs I am still waiting for Moon Pod to provide contact information to discuss a satisfactory solution I would not recommend you do any business with Moon Pod We work hard for our money these days and deserve a better quality product as advertised Positive and satisfactory customer service is needed with this company There are other bean bag type products out there that there is no need to support a company that has no problem scamming their customers
