Messini Beach club

Day 5 of holiday and whilst booking meant lengthy waits on phone all staff both during booking and here in resort excellent Hand sanitiser provided at all touch points face masks and gloves at meal times provided and they are now offering lateral flows in resort before journey home at 30 euros per person so no need to bring with you Tea and coffee sugar and cream for coffee with kettle in rooms Small fridge in rooms Shower gel in bathroom and hand soap plus small courtesy supply of shampoo conditioner Shop has plenty of sun cream if you run out beach shoes etc Loving resort and all the activities and hot shots a hit for our Son We haven t ventured out because of Covid but those that have have enjoyed local bars and restaurants Another great Neilson experience

Great Winter sunshine and resort for tennis and cycling

Just Returned from La Pared in Fuerteventura for 7 nights and enjoyed the week in the sunshine 20-25C Helen the tennis coach and James in charge were very helpful and enjoyed the quiz night and great tennis Great to get way for cycling and tennis in the cold winter and the resort was good but isolated advise hiring a car or cycle during the day to other towns on the East coast The hotel is on the West coast great for surfing but big waves so not advisable for watersports

Sauze D Ouix

Just back from a thoroughly enjoyable week of skiing All the staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome in particular I d like to mention Charlie the manager Frankie the mountain expert and Dominic the bar man The reason I gave it a 4 rather than 5 star review is that the rooms were a little on the small side the food was good but could have been a little warmer and ski in out is probably only possible when the snow conditions are really good

Beach staff laughed at my jokes not my

Beach staff laughed at my jokes not my sailing Always happy to get dinghies rigged and on the water Two problems are flies in the restaurant on the food with no visible deterrents or zappers And due to its location and lack of organised trips we couldn t see much more than the resort missed seeing the stunning island We did cycle to the next beach but it was too hot for non-cyclists to venture far

Fantastic staff at Neilsons hotel Les Menuires

Fantastic staff at Neilsons hotel Les Menuires very attentive and accommodating and super friendly Hotel situated on the main road which was noisy from about 5am onwards as we had a road facing balcony room It was disappointing it was necessary to take a ski bus every day to the ski area as it was always full by the time they reached the hotel for early pick up 820am Great skiing the 3 Valleys snow superb at the top not so great at village level Les Menuires is a purpose built ski resort with zero charm and aesthetically devoid of any beauty However the skiing was great and the Neilsons staff were fantastic The Neilsons ESF ski guide Adrien was brilliant as were the reps Alex and Kara Thank you Neilsons

The holiday lived up to previous

The holiday lived up to previous expectations - Neilsons staff are a credit The hotel food was excellent the hotel staff are very hard working and amazing- the facilities are good but could be better Tired rooms No air con Investment required So to add balance - the air conditioning is poor and in 34-36 degree heat that makes gym classes very very uncomfortable Sleeping was difficult as the room air con was temperamental but you are on holiday so you let it slide so you can have a relaxing time The pre holiday experience booking flights was frustrating - I kept getting error messages and had no one to speak to to try and address I did try Jet2 they didn t want to know Call your agent - I did - they were closed We had tried to reserve and pay for seats failed - not a great start at 05 55 from Manchester on a Sunday This part lets the overall experience down We have skied with Neilsons and had 3 summer holiday experiences This won t deter us but I think the things that really need addressing are being swept under the rug Communication about the airport at Kalamata is awful and extremely frustrating - the reps and seeing this every week and surely some organisation would be helpful Overall we loved our holiday - did it stop us having a great time - NO Will we travel with Neilsons again YES

A fabulous Neilson holiday

A great week in Levante beach staff were fantastic especially Amelia from the tennis team They all went out of their way to help you The extent of the fitness classes was great loved yoga at 8am in the morning in the warm sunshine Equipment was plentiful and good quality Food was good and replenished all the time and a great variety Local town about 15 minutes away had a good selection of bars and restaurants on the night off Only negative have been to 5 other Neilson resorts this was just too big It was shared with a Scandinavian Company so lost its Neilson family feel Will definitely be doing another Neilson holiday but not Levante

A great week at Levante overall

A great week at Levante overall and for me the tennis coaching team under Amelia was the best of any Neilson beachclub yet I would have liked to have seen more slots for personal court bookings but we managed A big and major negative was the fact that the pool bars closed way to early and they should at least have been open till dinner time so that aperitifs could be had to the accompaniment of the setting sun When I was in Messini the pool bars closed at 11pm and had the most efficient staff ever hence my bar bill was far bigger than on this trip to Levante The main hotel bar was awful in terms of ambience it was understaffed with slow service and amazingly only one beer tap making the serving of possibly the most popular beverage even slower Why was there no waiter service in the bar for drinks instead of a terrible queuing system Really poor marketing if you want to increase consumption and enjoyment of the bar facility Lastly the kayaks need changing for a better design which gives back support to enable longer stints on the water

Overall we loved Levante

Overall we loved Levante facilities beach sailing and water sports kit classes aplenty the number of pools was amazing including an all adult pool which was empty most the time and cycling was lovely Accommodation was very good lovely balcony got everything dried quickly as we had amazing weather all week The small town was 15 mins walk away with lots of bars and restaurants and we even had a trip to Rhodes old town The only negative was Levante is a shared site with Apollo and there were large groups of Scandinavians which detracted from the social side of Neilson the social table was empty most days so we stopped using it The feel of Levante isn t quite the same as other Neilson sites which is a real shame as everything else is stunning
