Waste of money

I took interior design feng shui was good clear and i am happy

Stopped the course The videos and links are outdated - the businesses they mention have closed websites have moved professionals have moved on I could not access some of the material online Luckily I bought the printed material - but that is not the point of an online course The assignments would take four to six weeks to get back within the continental USA and even within the same state NY There were minimal comments - basically re-do or okay -with next to no hint on how what to do better A disappointing experience

I don t even have the desire to finish school For the landscaping portion the lingo used in the book and school differ I ve asked my professor what his take on it is because I m reading one thing but he s expecting another If anyone is interested in landscape design go somewhere else

They don t help you You have to learn by yourself nobody explain to you anything It is like you re reading a book and you don t know what to do next One day the teacher tell me to email the the project to see if it was correct before I sent it then when I did she say yes everything is fine then I send the project and she say was bad I did it again them she lost it and tell me that I don t date it is like they throw the class anywhere and nobody knows anything she was mean To me If I know how the school work I never go Over there I love interior design and I don t have my diploma I stop the class and nobody bothered to call me or see why I don t keep going with my class nobody care about it they only care about the money And now almost paid all my only balance was like 200 or 300 so they don t need me anymore and the most important thing is teach Better they don t explain anything and you go to school learning by yourself guessing how to do the project I would never recommend nobody over there

Try to understand my project the instructor doesn t help and she s never trying

Still a student I ve paid in full Mailing in Homework like it s 1980 sucks I feel that my learning is 0 to none I do have a great instructor but only have spoken to her once in one year My time is running out because of mailing back and forth I resubmitted homework a minth ago and still no response

Phone calls were not answered Demands for drawings were not explained in the corresponding chapter of study The graph paper is a mess the distance between the lines varies on a single page

It s becoming a small nightmare Seriously I ve paid for my course in full up front Big Mistake Submitting assignments sometimes has gone from a 2 week to 30 day wait to move from point A to point B Just grade the dang paper My communication with my instructor is through the class portal but I have open communication with an instructor who is also referred to as a student adviser My instructor refers me to a student adviser who might be young enough to be my grand child Not relevant if she s qualified to do the job Limiting my communication even e-mails to regular work hours for the school is okay even though they respond when they get good and ready HOWEVER giving feed back on an old assignment that s been resubmitted 3 times is like pulling your work from high school to evaluate a college report Are they so busy that they can t look at the dates of submission the name on the paper or even note that they reviewed the assignment a month ago It s sickening Getting feed back on an assignment I submitted 30 days prior and wrote the word Draft in big bold letters should not be confused with the submitted and corrected and properly dated assignment What a joke Do they know what they are doing or is someone hired to open and answer e-mails at random God forbid if you re open to a telephone dialogue where the person has to have the last word the most words and unmistakable the wrong words I can still recall you are not my only student It flashes in my memory like a disgruntled child who wants the red balloon and not the yellow one NYIAD real reviews should make you cringe or run quickly in another direction Patiently I waited for the student adviser to provide feed back on my next project and I got the same feedback three times on the same project Ultimately 1 2 step forward and two steps back Question the qualifications of these student advisers instructors Look at the errors in the lessons even typographical errors Oh my gosh and can t they even spell your name right it s on the check I DO NOT RECOMMEND NYIAD Even if the course was free It s not worth the headache of trying to review the student adviser s work with a real professional I ve asked professionals in the field to look at the reviews by the student advisers Once is a critique twice is a possible error When you re reviewing the same document for the third time instead of the revised documents you are either overwhelmed or you just don t know what you are doing Does she IF I READ THE REAL REVIEWS BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS CLASS I NEVER WOULD TAKEN IT WITH THIS SCHOOL oh my gosh
