Terrible online experience
Terrible online experience No comms whatsoever Ordered a helmet After 4 days of radio silence checked the stock online as suspected the helmet wasn t available was showing as in stock when purchasing and no communication to tell me otherwise Sent a message via online contact us form to query about the dispatch status - no reply Then next day sent an email to hello - nothing Then called the shop and was told can t answer my question about dispatch status as the person didn t have access In the end was told to email David who got back to me saying that in fact the item isn t in stock and refunded my order All in all it took 6 days to go back to square one After an experience of buying from Amazon Ebay this is frustrated to say the least in this day and age

Extremely poor service
Item ordered arrived damaged due to very poor packaging by OnePlanetAdventure Contacted shop immediately after delivery with pictures of damaged item It took days and an email chaser for them to even respond to me Finally received an email back telling me they ll open a warranty claim with the manufacturer This made no sense at all since the item was clearly damaged due to their poor packaging and had nothing to do with the manufacturer I ve had to send 6 emails to finally receive a PARTIAL refund nearly a month after delivery DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Get it in writing before you buy
I am writing this review to formally express my dissatisfaction with a purchase I made at your store and the handling of my subsequent concerns On October 23rd 2023 I ordered a Santa Cruz Bullit after an extensive discussion with your sales representative David Coates During this conversation I specifically inquired about whether the bike would come equipped with the EP801 system as I understood this feature to be part of the 2024 model I was reassured multiple times by David that the bike I was purchasing would indeed have the EP801 system which was the decisive factor in my decision to proceed with the order At the time I was aware that the official product literature still listed the EP8 system However since the EP801 system had only just been announced I made sure to ask for clarification on more than one occasion David assured me that because this was a 2024 model it would have the EP801 system as all 2024 Santa Cruz s eBikes came with EP801 s Based on this assurance I placed the order for my 2024 Santa Cruz Bullit with great anticipation On August 3rd 2024 I visited the shop to receive an update regarding my bike s EP801 system To my dismay I discovered that the bike is fitted with the older EP8 motor not the EP801 system that I was explicitly promised Furthermore I have since learned that the bike cannot be upgraded to the EP801 system which means it is incapable of the free shift and auto shift functions that were key to my decision to purchase this model When I raised this issue with David he appeared to have no recollection of our conversation regarding the EP801 system and instead cited the Santa Cruz literature to justify the situation In my view this is either a significant oversight on his part or a deliberate attempt to mislead me into purchasing a product that does not meet my requirements As a result I have been left with a bike that I did not intend to buy costing 7 350 00 and your team has refused to take any kind of responsibility and made no effort to rectify for this issue which speaks volumes about the integrity of the sales team and your company s commitment to customer satisfaction At this point my only option is to sell the bike at a loss and purchase a new one that meets my original expectations which is a situation I find entirely unacceptable I believe this issue could have been avoided had the salesperson David been either transparent or knowledgeable about the product they were selling I urge you to address this matter promptly as I am extremely disappointed with the way this has been handled I would strongly advise potential customers to seek written confirmation of all key product details when purchasing high-value items from your store
