AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I bought a Nest Thermostat from Amazon for my Stepmom s Christmas present and scheduled an installation through them The gentlemen that came talked us into buying one from OnTech instead with the 1 year All Services Included Package He said this included ANY HELP my 75-year-old might need in the future with ANY items electronic in her house He set up the Nest and her Cell phone in the app and left First bout of Winter and she goes to turn on her heater and it doesn t work we call you guys out he comes and fixes it She was out of town for a few days earlier this month and was trying to start her air conditioning via her app but it wouldn t work Her son in law lives close so he went over and found the whole system was dead and wouldn t turn on We drive down on a Saturday to try and help The system said a wiring issue The nice lady we spoke with first via chat and then she called us to explain that this is a known issue with Nest because they are sensitive She recommended that we not try to fix ourselves as we are not electricians and forwards us to the scheduling department Here we encountered one of the rudest people we have ever met You could just tell he hated his job We try to make the appointment and he goes on to tell us that we only get the first couple free and that each trip out would be an additional expense I explain to him that we bought the All Included Package and that we were told that they would come out each time for free because as the name states it s included After dealing with him and feeling lied to by one of these men we are done with the Nest that doesn t work and OnTech s services And now they are sticking to their 60 day policy and will not refund any of my money AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This company is scammers I placed an order online they sent a dusty and defective product I returned it and after intense complaints they decided that they would not give the full refund the product was never opened and was sent just as I received it they are scammers

NO KNOWLEDGE DO NOT HIRE AND WASTE
I paid 50 to have a technician come to my house and help inform me on which cameras to properly choose exactly from Ring so I did not fall into issues and then have to deal with exchanges returns etc When the installer came he told me I needed an adapter out let installed by an electrician which I came to find out I did NOT This led to the first incorrect purchase the second camera he suggested for another angle I came to find out was not the correct one and I had to buy the one that already came with mounting This is now after I placed my order with Ring and have contacted them and the order has been placed and on the way so they cannot stop it This means I now have to wait another week for the products to arrive to then return them and then REORDER the cameras which I will have LOST my Black Friday discount on and hopefully receive those in another 2 weeks on top This is an absolutely horrible company I will never use or recommend you to anyone for the headache you caused me

I did not get the service I paid for I paid for a ring video doorbell installation Tech was here for 15 mins and did not do anything I asked He mounted it differently then what I asked The 1 most important thing I hired ontech for was to hardwire the ring doorbell AND IT IS NOT HARDWIRED He had no tools at all No face mask no gloves no shoe coverings and no hand sanitizer I COULD HAVE DONE THIS JOB MYSELF BETTER and I have on the last one that Ring replaced due to battery malfuction They have a guarantee but I just want a tefund because I dont trust the next tech they send at all I dont trust the skill level of the techs at all Unprofessional 141 69 after tax for install to be completely wrong I dont want them back to my home again I live in an apartment and I cant keep mounting and unmounting this doorbell because their incompetence

On tech consultation On Tech s consultation is a scam Their technician arrived late to their 2hr window The first thing he said was Which products do you want installed I told him I was expecting a consultation as described on their website as Create a Smart Home plan with the help of an expert I asked about door locks He said we have google locks there isn t anything called a Google lock That s when I knew this was all a scam and cut the appointment short After that I have tried for months to get a refund for the 50 fee The n Tech s customer support won t budge and continue to pass me between people while each trying to claim that what I had experienced was my 50 consultation On Tech stole 50 from me with no goods or services exchanged in return That is theft

DO NOT PURCHASE THE NEST SMOKE DETECTORS Not only do they not function properly but the OnTech service is deplorable I ve been on the phone with these obviously ill informed employees a dozen times over almost 2 weeks I wait am put on hold sent to another person I was told they d email me mailing labels to return the malfunctioning detectors I have yet to get anything from them I know when I call that I ll be put on hold and passed around with no respect I can t wait to get On Tech OUT OF MY LIFE I am a respected business woman and I m spreading the word ONTECH HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT S DOING Or maybe it s just a scam business

Horrible service
It is the first time using there service to replace a previous ring doorbell in the same place with the new version It has almost the same bracket which I installed before his arrival to help him out and hang the new doorbell on it to see if it fit perfectly when he arrived he gave me right away attitude and told me he did not do diagnostics only installations when I explained to him the bracket was the same and I tried to help him and did not do anything else and that he needed to connect the electricity wires and the chime and set up everything he gave me more attitude so I cancelled his service right there and demanded a refund of my full payment never I encountered such a bad service from anyone
