Great service for a first time buyer
I was a first time buyer and so very new to the whole process but I am pleased with the service by Oval Surveyors The report was thorough and touched on all the specific elements I had concerns with and had requested The photographic evidence was useful for negotiating with sellers Aftar correctly identified a leak coming from the above flat which I was able to get the seller to fix prior to exchange Having a debrief was also very helpful allowing me to ask questions keeping what can look like a scary report feel manageable The only thing I would say was that the report states only electricity could be found however if they had asked and been a bit more forceful with the lettings agents then they would have found the location of the gas meter Luckily the meter had been checked by the seller annually so no harm there
