BEWARE Sneaky checkout practices

Ordering from this company was a nightmare as they bombard you with pop-up pages of items to add to cart while trying to checkout This company added an unnecessary tracking service without displaying the charge anywhere in the cart I only saw the fee AFTER my card was charged When you decline tracking you get a pop up warning saying they cannot guarantee proper shipping unless this option is checked Only after your card is charged do you see this scam I will never purchase from this company again as this is shady unethical crap

Wanted black but my hair turned purple

I ve used your colours for 2 years now and I love it but this time I tried Rich Black and my hair is purple I had no colour in my hair from previous times Its been a good 8 months since my last colour so I m confused as to why it s purple I m not upset but wish it would have been black since I ve always wanted black hair

Didn t do anything

My hair was a light auburny color that I was hoping to tone a bit with the extreme silver I did two rounds that I left on for an hour each and it seemed to deposit absolutely nothing I ve used overtone in the past in many different colors and it s always taken perfectly to my hair This color just didn t do anything other than make my hair soft A little disappointed but not giving up on overtone

Color inconsistency

This last jar of Rose Gold was mostly gold instead of Rose Gold The first jar was darker and the second didn t even look pink rose at all I ve noticed a difference in the bottles of weekly conditioner as well I love the product when it s the vibrant rich color of Rose Gold

Bought the rose gold bundle Only the conditioner had any results but it was very patchy The mask did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I wrote an email to them to ask why no response I m really disappointed I had such good results with their other products

There wasn t a pull tab on the protective seal this time so it was super hard to open I couldn t get it open all the way because it was getting on my hands and I was trying not to make a mess but it seemed like there also wasn t as much product as usual

Maybe not worth it

I ve used this product 3 separate times now trying to give it a chance While my hair feels amazing and well conditioned the color does not stay on my natural color I haven t used this product on pre-lightened hair It goes away within 2-3 washes The black I used was terrible-My hair was 3 different colors by the end-blue brown and purple

I used the Rich Black Healthy Hair Duo

I used the Rich Black Healthy Hair Duo on black hair The color was extremely purple and left the crown of my head a bright purple Although the black ended up being purple it did cover my hair well it smelled amazing and left my hair soft My biggest complaint was that although I used gloves and was careful while using the product anything that it touched dyed the material Permanently dyed it My bathtub from just a normal hair wash without the product dyed the bathtub bright blue Compared to other products both vegan or chemical type kits the Overtone duo has stained by far the worst I ve been using black dyes for 17 years unfortunately this brand seemed to be the most challenging to use and the staining was very unpleasant

I was excited to take advantage of the recent 25 off sale for purchases over 75 but I guess the offer expired once I checked out I did get an offer for one discounted conditioner after I had placed my order of two conditioners at full price I was confused but went ahead and took the offer and ordered that discounted third one It was just a bit weird did I miss the promotion or not Maybe a new promotion started up right after the last

Think twice Maybe Arctic Fox is better if looking for something temporary

Giving two stars because I really liked the coverage I was lucky enough to have the colour go on easy and stay on Stayed on however is the problem Can not wash it out to save my life and through the fading has turned my hair green forcing me to purchase the pink toning conditioner For reference put the chocolate brown over my beautiful natural silver back in August faded to a sort of golden colour with very unfortunate green undertones which are progressively getting worse Tried stripping the colour out and ended up chopping most of my hair off but don t want a buzz cut hence the toner hoping it works Haven t received it yet delivery is delayed
