My son had been out of school for two years - OOL were recommended to us and we decided that a physical course with a tutor was a good way to go for him It worked really well - my son was able to study at his own pace the marking of his work was prompt and comments were constructive The assistance from OOL in terms of exam applications was much appreciated and meant the actual exam sitting process was very straightforward for us If I m honest he probably only really worked studied for the second year of the two year course - but he gained solid B s at GCSE which was exactly what he needed to enter VIth form college for his A Levels

I ve just achieved my first A-level at the age of 43 I m so glad I chose OOL Everyone at OOL has been great throughout my two years of study Every piece of work was quickly marked by my tutor who then arranged a time to go over things in more detail on the phone My tutor was lovely which may not be the first thing you look for in a course provider - but trust me when you start feeling the pressure it can make all the difference When it came to submitting coursework and booking exams OOL were thorough in making sure that I had all the information I needed and all the right paperwork As an added complication I needed to use a word processor in my exams - the team took this in their stride and liaised with the exam centre to ensure that everything was in place Studying for an A-level around work and other commitments has certainly not been easy but with OOL I feel that I have been backed all the way by people who really care about my success Sadly OOL does not offer the next A-level which I would like to study I can only hope that my next provider will be as wonderful as they have been

I was very happy with this service my daughter received frequent and useful tutor contact throughout her courses and achieved three A-level grades that she was very happy with The staff were always polite and helpful and frequently available to answer any of my or my daughter s queries Wonderful

I took my daughter out of high school at the beginning of year 11 I did not want to but felt I had no choice We researched a few companies and found Oxford Open Learning to be suitable Once in touch with them we found them very helpful The tutors were always available for questions and feedback and got back to my daughter promptly is she had any problems In the course of 8 months and with help from the tutors my daughter completed and passed 5 GCSEs I would definitely recommend Oxford Open Learning

I have just recommended my friend to use oxford home schooling Because i found them to be excellent Both my twins used English Maths Biology physics chemistry psychology and English literature They got nearly all A grades My daughter got a 1st in Biomedical science and my son is in medical school It is not easy to home school It is not down to the course tutors to ensure children study We received every support needed especially in the difficult subjects of maths and the sciences But we found oxford learning absolutely wonderful If the children don t put the work in they won t achieve the results Oxford is an excellent service Thank you so much I have been meaning to leave a review for some time Highly recommended

My daughter has studied with OOL for 3 years and they are so supportive and helpful Everything has been so smooth from initial enquiry through to exams and beyond I can honestly not fault anything the materials are clear and concise tutors are helpful and friendly I wouldn t hesitate to recommend

My daughter is in year 9 and has just opted to home educate to facilitate her demanding ballet training We could not be happier with our start with Oxford online learning you are very supportive The online content is really clear and the tutors really helpful

My daughter started studying with Oxford in March 2023 and we haven t looked back The tutors have been fantastic in helping her and they contact her regularly to make sure everything is ok Highly recommend Oxford for homeschooling

My daughter has completed 5 IGCSE s 1A level and is currently studying another GCSE with Oxford and she has done incredibly well The tutors are helpful and the staff at Oxford friendly The payment scheme is very handy I m also studying for a GCSE through Oxford and have no problem in recommending

Excellent help and support available form designated tutor and student advisor throughout the course whenever needed and not at all pushy so child can work at own pace Course in depth but also self explanatory and easy to follow
