Similar to another post on here I too purchased a kitchen from the Painted Kitchen co back in 2019 or the classic kitchen co as it was known back then and having moved into a new property and planning a full house renovation we decided to use them again as we were hugely impressed with them the first time round We naively assumed we were getting the same product sadly this was not the case In that time they have moved their manufacturing to China to cut costs and unfortunately the quality has also taken a hit When our kitchen arrived I was immediately disappointed with it so much so that I had to get in contact with them to highlight this and also ask about the numerous scuffs and dents accumulated through transit Unfortunately they were super defensive and mentioned that filler was supplied for this purpose something I thought odd given the cost and found it incredibly dismissive The quality is nothing like what it used to be so much so that we had to pay our carpenter an additional 3 days labour just to fit it doors needed to be rehung and uneven gaps either side of the drawers which are still there now When this was pointed out to them and images sent across they tried to blame our fitter which we thought was ironic given he was the same kitchen fitter we used to fit our kitchen back in 2019 which they advertise both on their website and Instagram page After a number of back and forth emails they finally agreed to send someone out to investigate but given their previous emails and reluctance to help we decided to just get our fitter to crack on as I was 9 months pregnant and needed a kitchen asap as we figured from previous communication they wouldn t be of much use Our kitchen has now been in a few months and the quality keeps letting us down as it s made of soft wood and is incredibly easy to dent and scratch and is not in any way conducive to a family environment All in all I regret that I didn t do my due diligence and would not recommend using them It was an expensive mistake on my part and no way worth what I paid for it 14k plus cost of labour and painting I will say the ordering and design process was speedy just a shame the end product isn t great If you re debating on using these guys make sure you do your research as it s a very expensive mistake to get wrong like I have

Mixed Experience - Quality Has Declined We first used Painted Kitchens Company around five years ago and were extremely impressed with the quality Everything was made in the UK the doors fitted perfectly and the whole process from purchase to installation and painting was flawless The craftsmanship was top-notch and it felt like a truly premium product However having recently used the company again the experience was quite different I suspect the company may have changed hands as the kitchen units now appear to be imported I believe from China and unfortunately the quality has dropped noticeably There were issues with poor finishing on some of the units incorrect dovetailing and doors that didn t fit properly I had to spend quite a bit of time adjusting cupboard doors and hinges just to get them to close properly The service itself was good but the overall product is just not what it used to be Given our experience we sadly wouldn t use Painted Kitchens Company again which is a real shame considering how exceptional they were in the past

Good would use again didn t feel like i was pressured to buy at all very nice staff

This is a great way of getting a fabulous painted wooden kitchen at a great price There is so much choice with cupboards and style that you will end up with a truly unique kitchen Everyone who visits our home comments on how beautiful it is This is the second kitchen we have had from classic kitchens due to moving house we love it

The kitchen units are lovely There were quite a few hiccups in getting them delivered and fitted and as a result my project took a few weeks longer than expected so I would say build in flexibility to your project - but Alan stepped in and saved the day in the end It all feels worth it now the kitchen is installed and very pretty indeed

I am a bit serial mover and have had experience of lots of kitchens and providers in my time PKC in my opinion are probably the best I have dealt worth quick honest great product good process no gimmicks I could go on for ever I will certainly be coming back for my next move- Thank You

Quality and build of units great Couple of items missing but they were provided very quickly My kitchen fitter thinks it is very good value for money Only negative comment was the after sales response to reporting missing items Would still recommend without reservation

My husband works in construction and was genuinely impressed by the build quality of these cabinets The doors are properly weighted and balanced so they hang perfectly straight You can feel the quality just by opening and closing a drawer or door Everything fits together with precise tolerances you d expect from much higher priced kitchens

We love our new kitchen - Its amazing

Teh cost of these cabinets should be a lot higher - we are amazed at the value and the service we were offered
