I took a product back to the store that

I took a product back to the store that I had ordered online as it was too big It came without an invoice receipt so I printed off the on line order confirmation The Bicester store female staff member who seemed to be the boss said to me suspiciously its very unusual for a receipt not to be sent and she made me feeling very uncomfortable and I will not be using the store again

This is the first time since coronavirus and stores closed that Iv had to pay for any returns All other stores have done free returns this is very poor customer service After placing an order of six items two have to be returned due to their poor sizing to the value of 12 80 yet they want to charge me 2 99 to return them

Do not buy online from this store the information is so misleading and I was unable to return an item as couldn t download the code in the form said I was within the time period to return it but was unable to download the code and on the form advised me to go into local store so I did and was advised they cannot deal with online orders I was then given a customer service number and was advised they could not help me either

Do not buy online If you chose to return goods you do so at your own expense if posted back I opted to return my items to store within 14 days I was questioned as to why I hadn t printed my return form I do not own a printer I was then advised I couldn t have a refund only an exchange as I paid via paypayl I was in the shop for 40 minutes the first sale assistant didnt know how process and kept getting confused so had to call her manager to take over

Missing items poor service

Placed an order online but when I recieved it one item was missing I contacted customer services who questioned me about the condition of the package I asked for a replacement not a refund They said they couldn t do this but I could reorder with them over the phone I had an 8 refund but had to pay for the same item 13 99 As I paid postage and when I originally brought the item it had 20 off Still waiting for refund and I haven t recieved repeat order All in all poor service

NEVER ANY LONG TOPS

Every time I go into peacocks I can never find a long top Whether it s winter time or summer time all they do it short tops and dresses A nice tunic would be nice or even a longline t Shirt Not everyone likes to have everything on show you know

We don t do charity

When I visited the Congleton store this morning to purchase a rucksack and foldable bag for the homeless lady just few meters away from the store the sales assistant helpfully suggested her manager can help with a discount however the manager Tracey i think looked at me with a measure of disgust She refused any discount however the assistant suggested I signed up to their website to get 10 off which I did Mixed experience but management fail in humanity Could do better

Ordered 4 items received 3 I continue to send emails without receiving any answer when I will receive back the money for the missing items One of received items was the wrong size and I received the refund If on the same delivery note is written 1 missing and 1 returned item why the refund has not been done for the both of them No any communication from 14 June till no 2 07 Very bad customer service Today 16 07 continue my story with my purchase I have received on 29 06 the refund for the the returned trousers On 14 07 I have received email if the packaging was damaged I explained that the packaging was not damaged that on their delivery note is written 1 missing item At today 16 07 I have not any answer any refund for 1 item which has never been send by them I will continue to update my post In this way the people will k ow if they decide the buy what they should expect

Communication Communication Communication Communication Communication CommunicationSadly the reviews speak for themselves and it s all to do with how this company reacts or not so when something goes wrong as it was in my case - still awaiting a refund So will I use this company to make online purchases in the future not a chance Will Peacocks continue to get away with continuing to blame Covid I m afraid not

Refunding nightmare

Ordered and delivered ok didn t like so wanted to return you can t take back to shop as they don t accept returns or give refunds from online so I paid 4 98 p p and had to pay 4 50 to return for refund I spent 36 so deduct p p fees I only get a refund of 26 03 won t be buying from these again
