University of Phoenix literally sucks That s why their graduation rate is so low All they care about is the money They are good with calling the first couple of months and then you are on your own You can never get in touch with your academic counselor you re always talking to different people that tell you all different things and in order for me to keep it professional I m going to leave it at that Would not EVER recommend Gross

Teachers and coursework did not align

Teachers weren t clear on instructions and was told to Google it instead of providing help for scholarly search early on in the program Another professor did not outline exactly what they were looking for The school heavily stressed using the rubric as the guide for papers or assignments but one professor did not put a big part of the paper in the rubric and marked off points The teachers and the coursework did not align

The supporting system for overseas

The supporting system for overseas students is not effective and flexible including student services and faculty Additionally I have asked for Doctoral scholarship for several times but only sending me the resources not providing me guidance for the resources for non-US citizen

The professor did not clearly state his assignment objectives When asked he was rude I felt very stressed because I did not know what was expected of me for this class I was looking forward to this class because it is my last class I was hoping for the professor to give better feedback he just referred to his rubric for grading At this point I just want to be done

Billing Issues

There are issues with billing in which I feel that UoP has been failing to address I have had to contact them twice regarding the same issue and all they respond with is almost the exact same email showing no acknowledgement to what i had asked

I m disappointed at the unprofessional

I m disappointed at the unprofessional of the phoenix university staff who cannot realize adults students do have full time jobs After repeatedly informing the staff when calling I m at work Over the course of my enrollment What a turn off

My experience might be very niche but I m still basing my review on that The University of Phoenix provides an excellent education however I have been dealing with financial issues created by the University of Phoenix I graduated 4 months ago and am still dealing with that situation

Ucertify needs to be updated

Ucertify needs to be updated as soon as possible It has outdated information that is wasting every student s time Labs are super easy and do not provide any benefits challenges to the students Most of them are repetitive and contain a lot of errors

My entire degree program has had one

My entire degree program has had one error after another I am now completing my second attempt at my masters degree with enough credits to complete the first Then my counselor called and told me they will need me to take the test again that took me 13 months to pass previously for my new program when I was assured that I would not need to do that Then I was given a new counselor who has yet to disclose their name or how to contact them My instructor is currently grading my work at a C- average and I feel like it is not fair There is some bias in her decision making process

I came back to finish my program because I wanted to put this behind me Apparently I was on probation and I was not made aware of it until I started classes The first teacher upon my return was a slacker This teacher barely paid attention to the discussion boards Some people were copying others answers This current teacher is a handful His way of answering me so far needs improvement I wish there was an alternative to this class I was getting emails about academic retrieve too often Even after I filled it out
