Horrible experience

This university is all about the money They want to keep you there as long as possible The enrollment staff is rude and kept forgetting what I had sent them I had to keep sending my transcripts in and keep going over what I have sent and from where What a nightmare I would never go to this school so unorganized

Don t do it

University of Phoenix seems to be a scam I had a stroke my counselor never offered any support I came back after a year off to be bombarded with messages to stay above grade average to fix my GPA only to turn around pass all my classes and have finance tell me my gpa wasn t good enough and I can t student teach

This Doc 715 class and the teacher needs to be revised not only myself but the others in the class or having a tremendous hard time especially with his teacher We are not getting any other guidance that we need

Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction

The teachers here are horrible the student aren t held responsible for participation is class assignments or for their conduct in class discussion academic advisors only care about the money you bring in and really do not provide any support Most teachers and academic advisors here are rude I am at the end of my degree and have had only 3 teachers that cared to teach

I would like to have more information

I would like to have more information and ways to contact my advisor I ve been having issues with my professors and should be able to contact my advisor on these matters I do like the flexibility of the school However communication should be better

My Name is Destiny

My Name is Destiny So far my experience has been horrible I ve contacted the financial aid department every week it s now been 6 weeks and I haven t recieved not 1 financial award letter It took them 4 weeks to process 2 transcripts It s never took this long at any school for me to recieve my financial at any other university it s usually sent out the 2nd week this is going on week 7 and I m thinking about dropped out The teachers grade horribly gave me a 0 on a 10 page paper I wrote say it didn t hit every single point they give you like 6 assignments a week

I feel like a lot of the grading is being treated like a participation trophy Only a few of the professors actually grade and give good feedback and teach The university should encourage and require the professors to actually grade and teach their courses How are we supposed to succeed in life with the degrees we get from this university if we are not taught properly College is not supposed to be a cake walk You need to be challenged and encouraged Not a good job buddy here is your degree

This school tells you what you want to hear to get your money

I ve been speaking with different representative and everyone says something different When I called today I was told that my credits from Blue Cliff college has to go through prior learning for review to see what credits will be accepted and it takes up to 30 days I don t have an issue with that my issues are out of all the representatives I spoke with no one knew to tell me that So now I am going to be delayed when I could have been taken care of this As long as they re receiving money thats all that mattered I wish I never allowed these people to talk me into attending this school Once I am finish with this course I will be transferring to a university that actually cares

Recent Class Experience

It hasn t been a pleasant experience so far with this class One thing I ve noticed is a big difference in the male and female instructors My first two were female the third and fourth are male The third barely passed my approval He bombarded the class with an overload of assignments in his replies along with the regular assignments The current instructor doesn t seem to be much of an improvement overall with a very small percentage better Since I am hearing impaired I communicate better with writing I replied to this instructor to one of his replies but he didn t reply to it Also in his first email to me in reference to my non-responses to the assignment I felt it was somewhat harsh I am sensitive to this kind of approach that could have been worded better and including if I needed assistance to let him know He did not ask this

Honestly I don t feel like I ve learned anything in the 7 months I ve been attending I don t get to speak to an academic counselor or even my instructor As a hands on in person learner this has been a real challenge for me given the lack of support I ve received
