A great learning platform

I ve been using Pickup Music for a month and I love it I began playing the electric guitar as a teenager but as life went on I couldn t find the time to continue practicing Now years later I wanted to take it up again and Pickup Music is just what I needed structured pathways for each level more specialized courses and lessons to go deeper on particular aspects short lessons when you just have a little time to practice I can t recommend it enough

Amazing platform I needed structure this has it I needed a competent teacher this has many I needed a user interface that is easy to look at this is it I needed it to be fun this is super fun and maybe even addictive It s honestly the only website I care to be on anymore LOL What can I say I m hooked

A rewarding experience worth every penny

My guitar learning has been a pertpetually ongoing process for the past 10 years or so During this journey I have enrolled in Guitar Tricks Fender Play Guitareo Udemy Teachables and many more If there is a guitar course out there I probably have given it a try I finally settled for Pickup Music For me this site instantaneously clicked The material is nicely divided up into Genres Masterclasses Pathways Five minute lessons Practice sessions etc There is opportunity to get your skills evaluated at NO EXTRA COST by uploading your performance The feedback to questions comments concerns is quick Its almost like there really are live people working behind the scenes and you are not all alone I have never seen Guitar theory taught so simplistically and in such a fund indulging manner For example CAGED pathway is phenomenally well done There are many many more My learning continues and I look forward to being a member here for a long time Cheers

I have played for over 50

I have played for over 50 years Professionally for 15 So I knew my way around the neck and chord composition but still so many holes After going through Caged system and the intermediate and advanced intermediate sessions I can honestly say the structure of lessons has helped a great deal in connecting what was never before connected The jazz module is again filling those spaces that were missing Thank all of you at Pickup Music

I ve been using Pickup Music for a while now and it s truly elevated my guitar skills For years I was stuck strumming the same chords without really understanding what I was doing This course has changed all that giving me a much better grasp of the fretboard The classes are really well structured ensuring that learners aren t overwhelmed Instead they ease you into mastering the guitar Definitely money well spent

Great Learning after Long Hiatus

My experience with Pickup Music has been great - I just completed the CAGED I Pathway and found it a great way to really get back into playing guitar after 15 years or so without regular playing I could always pickup a song from the tabs or play chord progressions but I feel like I have learned more in the last two months from the pathway than in many full years of playing and learning In some ways I think having the videos infographics and different teachers may even be better for structure than an in person teacher I m very pleased with the service and am looking forward to the completing several of the masterclasses and Pathways

Filling in Blanks and improving

Being a mostly self taught guitarists this is filling many blank spaces in my guitar playing Some lessons I ve breezed through others have been a stretch Don t be fooled by the Lesson titles day one day two etc Ive spent a week or more on a day lesson and being retired I practice every day it s part of my morning ritual For me the most benefit is from taking my time and trying to incorporate the lessons into my own playing I can hear the difference

I thought I knew it all

I am an experienced guitar player for more than four decades As yet I ve played quite intuitively but was eventually limited in how far I could advance The CAGED system is a great way to go from intuition to systematic For the first time I am understanding what I m doing and I am beyond curious to see where this will be taking me from here I like the instruction videos which are very clear Molly Sam and Karl are great teachers and nice people too It is really a lot of fun

Step by step to becoming a better guitarist

I am very happy with my decision to have subscribed to Pickup Music I only started playing the guitar as an adult and never had any proper lessons The first songs I learned were through YouTube Many times I actually spent more time looking for practice pieces than playing I had the feeling I wasn t getting anywhere That changed completely with Pickup Music Thanks to the well-structured courses I started with Late Beginner I m motivated to pick up the guitar The explanations are step-by-step and easy to understand For me the balance of challenge and feel-good pieces feels right The opportunity to receive personal feedback is also great 5 5 stars
