You have to pay for everything

Pretty disappointed in my custom logo It came out off-center and a weird color The logo I uploaded was a charcoal gray and it came out a greenish much lighter gray Not so excited to show this off but I guess it will still do the job

I like the concept but it rarely works

It s a good idea overall but the restrictions for a nonpaid account are way too great for it to actually be worth buying the popl itself If I would have known that I would have had to pay a monthly fee on top of purchasing the device itself just to add a basic link to my profile or add two different Instagram accounts I would have gone with a different company

We purchased a custom card from Popl

I like the concept but most phones I have tried do not work Also some people are wary that I am trying to steal info from their phone lol biggest issue is it not working for iPhones while I use Android many people have iPhones and i cannot transfer my info to them Buying these four Popls seem like a waste at this point I still need to order more cards anyway Hopefully the technology will improve so everyone can use it

Honest review

We purchased a custom card from Popl and 2 other competitors all within the same hour so we could test the products and choose which company to go to for our entire team Your product came an entire week after your two competitors had their items in our hands The general useage packaging and card was not as good

Difficult for people without iphone

Updated review The free version of the product seems super handy As someone that runs a blog with over 1 2 million followers most people I encounter know of our blog but it s nice to have the Popl for a seamless link I m kinda sad it does not automatically come with the pro option where you can customize the look of it but I understand businesses need to get additional revenue somewhere I willl update my review as I get to use the product

Has its cons but unique to promote

The cons for this device it does not work with older Apple and Android phones Additionally if a phone does not NFC on it does not work It may problematic tell others to turn on this feature and how to do it When it works or when someone scans the QR code it is great Also it is a great talking piece

Could be Quicker

Honestly I had high hopes for my custom card because I didn t have to buy multiple in order to get my custom business name However the most frustrating thing was the amount of time it took to actually get my card It stayed in in transit for 5 days and I contacted support who told me it should be shipping soon I ordered physical cards from another company to hold me over and that got here before the custom Popl did

Ok but logo came right off

Over all I like the concept of the logo Popl dot however the logo came right off which isn t something I had expected
