I am normally a big fan of pret Not every day but I go there most times in the week But lately the prices are through the roof I had to pay over 16 for 2 toasties and 2 orange juices The prices are premium but the quality has not changed

Pret used to be Great Pret used to be rignt on point If I was dissatisfied all I had to do was write in and I got an apology and a voucher Now no reply Staff attitude is still usually pretty good but my wife noticed that the Croissants don t taste nice like they used to the other big cause for complaint is the strong taste of oven-cleaner on the croissants quite frequently due to not cleaning it off before making a new batch when its good however its pretty good

Have been to pret cheltenham for a number of years every day Think they have a new team member as I know most of the front of house staff I was approached with a YEAH not a good morning or hello Hope the store stays as fabulous as before as it is my little piece of heaven

My experience in the pret manger is great whith the stuff but only I don t understand why not using whole milk to make better coffees This semy skimmed and skimmed is horrible please give to us this option thanks

I brought in 4 of my cats today 7 of the 6 batista staff offered them milk and the intelligent 8th batista was a former minister without portfolio in the Cameron govt and discussed sustainable bun making with one of my cats Great friendly service

Eating challenge

Many food outlets have suffered due to falling sales since WFH became a passtime and pret have not escaped Generally low stock levels but always fresh food offerings Now my own gripe salads Interesting and freshly made but leaves are too long to eat without cutting or risking trying to shove them in uncut Either way you re going to splash your clothes with dressing And the ghastly wooden cutlery are just horrible to use OK I understand the environment and not using plastics but there has to be better options And as for the salad I also know that the smaller you cut it the quicker it spoils but all the same - it s a challenge I usually avoid Having said that I ve just finished one
