Avoid

Neither plant looked particularly healthy but according to customer service they are confident they are both fine and apparently it s unlikely to find a palm with no brown I have many that would beg to differ Also if it was one or two I would accept it but nearly every leaf was brown marked in some way Guess the prickle refers to the way customer service responds if someone is unhappy with their order Buy plants in person or from a company with non patronising customer service Delivery and packaging great

No quality control in place it seems

Ordered a giant alocasia which was delivered promptly but within less than a week almost all of the leaves had gone black yellow and I have had to remove 5 leaves out of 8 I requested a replacement which was in a worse state than the one I initially received The soil was so dry it had pulled away from the pot in a solid clump and that every single leaf was bent over and drooping down to the ground Received a refund with no hassle but honestly I wouldn t waste your money or time It seems like nothing is quality checked before being sent out to customers

Undersized and damaged plant - poor communication

Received a plant that was smaller than the plant ordered Should have been 80-90cm but was mostly under 70cm with a few leaves reaching 74cm - using tape measure from floor Poor condition with torn and damaged leaves holes and a general sickly sense Initial email received a response but nothing since despite further emails from myself So far very unimpressed Failure to receive satisfactory outcome - ie correct sized replacement plant in good condition - will oblige me to start a process with PayPal

Disgusted

Wow I am absolutely furious with my order I smelled it even before OPENING the box All the roots of the 5 baby plants I ordered had root rot and the neon Pothos and the croton pineapple had a very thick sponge death plug that I couldn t get off which also had root rot aswell All the plants arrived in a plastic bag and they were absolutely sodden Disgusting You need to have a serious look into your quality control practices Do NOT recommend Prickle Plants

The plant has completely died two

The plant has completely died two days after it arrived I put it into the soul immediately and treated properly I have lots of different plants at home so I know I hadn t done anything wrong The customer service was rude and unhelpful insisting I must have overwatered it I clearly didn t Do not recommend Will never buy anything else here

Not enough care - in delivery packing and instructions

Plants took a long time to get here - the courier came twice while I was in but didn t wait long enough for me to open the door I had to get the package redirected to an Argos - so the plants were wrapped up for longer than needed Packing was constructing for the plants and they lost soil There were no immediate care instructions eg I soaked the bases of the pots overnight but have no idea if this was right This was a prize and I have had eg excellent cut flowers by post but won t use you again and can t recommend you

Waste of money no customer service

First time ordering nearly 50 worth of plants the palm is so waterlogged and saturated its mouldy and rotting the two smaller ones were so wet they weren t rooted and fallen out of pots as soil so wet then the next was so dry with massive roots where its outgrown pot Customer services absolutely useless and want me to pay to return their terrible products that arnt fit for purpose Don t waste your money its been really disappointing Much better service from other businesses

So disappointed with the delivery company

So disappointed with the delivery service of this company Despite providing full details of address mobile number to contact at arrival at address and gate access number my daughter in law still hasn t got her parcel as the delivery company say they have tried to deliver 3 times This cannot be true as my son works from home and has looked out for any calls or door bells Wanted to order some further plants but don t feel confident that delivery will be made What a shame Think carefully before ordering

Plants do not last

This is now the fourth order I have made with Prickle and not the first time I have had issues A number of my plants are facing issues again The plants that are struggling are Lil Lucky Bamboo One stalk has gone yellow Watermelon Peperomia Has been losing leaves and arrived with damaged leaves Lil Golden Mosaic Has not lasted at all All these plants are placed with and treated the same as there other plants that s are fine

Poor customer service

Poor customer service I used the wrong delivery address by mistake I emailed you immediately but you refused to change the order I had to go miles out of my way to pick up the goods Maybe open your emails a bit more often
