Long story short I eventually caved and begrudgingly purchased quizlet plus in the attempt to improve my performance in class but it turns out the paid for services expert solutions and learn specifically hardly function half the time In short don t waste your time or money on this fallen piece of garbage

I used to love Quizlet

I have an AP World History quiz every week where I have to memorize around 20-25 terms every test Quizlet Learn used to be the best way for me to memorize everything quickly but they hid it behind a paywall For people that may not have a job be too young to get one or have a hard time paying the 48 annual subscription to Quizlet Plus it really sucks that I can t use it like I used to I hope Quizlet never makes a single cent off of anybody and I hope their website gets shut down at 6 47 P M on May 28 2023 under mysterious circumstances

Disappointing

I used to love Quizlet I used it all throughout high school and well into my college education It was an indispensable part of my study strategy When they started putting things behind paywalls I was disappointed but I kept using it because it was a great way to study terminology and prepare for exams Now even the learn feature is locked behind a paywall I m now looking for a suitable replacement because this isn t worth it

Whomever is running Quizlet now

Disappointing I am a language teacher and paying Quizlet user since 2012 I enjoyed every improvement and was able to pass it on to my students until 2021 2022 when great features like writing exercises and printing out flashcards vanished to be replaced by a huge and ridiculous paywall My students should be able to use my course materials for free but they are bombarded with ads Just not worth it anymore Had to pay one more year to get my stuff out of there but I am out for good and hope many teachers do the same

As everyone s said the paywalls are ridiculous Things that used to be free are locked behind paywalls and the website feels like a shell of itself because of it I used to love taking the practice tests or using the learn feature but not anymore Quizlet sure knows how to anger their once-loyal student base who s already barely scraping by Will be going elsewhere to do online studying knowt io is the place to go for sure

You need to pay 35 a year to even make it worth your time

I have used Quizlet for over a year now If you can choose another flashcard making service do it I have written to Quizlet and also Quizlet programmers on Github Their Audio playback for cards is broken they will send you emails saying it is to do with your browser and after following all the suggested steps the problem will still be the same They ignore the written words in email form and need a staff overhaul Save yourself valuable study time and choose another company that helps people

Quizlet used to be a 5-Star studying tool until they got greedy You only get access to some of their limited features now which barely function and honestly aren t worth your time anymore There are plenty of free and just better studying tools out there now that you need to pay for Quizlet to be the least bit effective Just wish we had the old Quizlet back before they decided to suck money out of students

Worst ever app quizlet plus I tried to see how it works and accepted trial and they charged without any notification and the guy Noah doesn t reply he can t even see the charge screenshot too asks me same question Customer support sucks And I didn t get my refund back or reply never trusting this site
