Sadly RBFCU is no longer the best

I have not been able to use the Transfer Money feature I get all the way to entering the one-time code they send then nothing It isn t working for me Since Wednesday today is Saturday I have called for help everyday No response Even this morning I call and wait for a representative and the call is disconnected Also used their email for customer service on Thursday Finally get a reply to my email They wrote back We apologize however we are unable to review or discuss account specific information via this avenue of communication because it is not secure At your convenience please call us Still shaking my head at that Read RBFCU reply below

Wasting My Time

My wife and I made an appointment on August 18th for the 26th This was to come down in person to talk about purchasing some land and move our car insurance over to RBFCU What a joke I will not blame the branch staff but this should have been explained before we made the drive We walk in and have to explain again for the reason of the appointment Again not going to blame the branch staff We did not see anyone we are placed in a room while they called a department Again we had to explain for the 3rd time why we are here We could have spoken to this department in the comfort of our home I find this to be unethical I won t blame the person we spoke to on the phone They are only doing their job My time was wasted no way I was going to give them my business after this My wife and I looked at each other and just thanked the person who was on the phone along with the branch staff I made sure to take belongings out of my safety deposit box They want to do business over a phone or the net then say so I found another party to help us buy the land RBFCU has lost my trust and respect I could have closed the deal a week ago They are good for checking savings and online banking Hence the 2 stars Another cheap apology from them We never even had a video conference Just a phone on speaker The person did not even have our details You cannot bring back the time we wasted RBFCU has lost its way over the years No moral compass

this is actually the bank i use

this is actually the bank i use and have used for nearing 10 years good bank zero fees no interest deductions honest upfront staff only downside overdraft fees are a bit high overdraft by 1 penny get a 27 overdraft fee be 5 stars easily if the overdraft fee wasnt rediculous but other than the overdraft fee i can find no fault in this bank one of if not the best bank myself and my family members have used

RBFCU has always been great when I ve used them It s hard to beat the rates I ve gotten from them Their website could be easier to use and an app would be great

AMAZING BANK THE BEST BANK EVER NO FEES IN ANYTHING NOT EVEN FOR CRYPTO YOU CAN W DRAW YOUR ANYTIME YOU WANT EVEN THE MONEY MARKET I ASKED ALL THE QUESTIONS YOU RE INSANE NOT TO PUT ALL YOUR MONEY HERE JOIN ONE TODAY ALL THE OTHER BANKS WILL HAVE YOU PAY A FEE if you close an account BOA which is my other crap bank they charge me a service fee if I don t have 500 or more coming in within a month within my checking So crooked My client told me RBFCU was the best He was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT God rest his soul

My wife and I got a home loan through RBFCU Not only was the rate 0 787 2 875 rate locked in February 2022 better than the builder preferred lender 30 day rate lock only RBFCU extended their 60 day rate lock all the way through closing for no extra charge October 2022 The builder set up Closing initially for April and then without warning delayed it indefinitely RBFCU saved us tens of thousands of dollars Nobody else gives an 8 month rate lock We would have been stuck with a 7 loan or lost the house took 21 months to build completely if we used the preferred lender

Great Lender

So far so good They have one of the lowest mortgage rates only 750 processing fee and they give you the option to opt for reduced rate once after locking the rates if the rates go down before closing which happened in my case Will update the review post closeUpdateWe closed at the due date Team worked diligently and communication was great throughout

Amazing Customer Service

Amazing Customer Service I received my replacement debit card as the one I currently had was expiring at the end of the month I was given the 800 number to call to activate my card but was having difficulty I called and spoke with Kylie today and she not only connected me to the activation number but stayed on the call to ensure everything went through ok In my opinion she went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and was extremely kind and friendly as well Thanks Kylie

They are a great bank thank you for working with me and explaining I hope everyone can get in the same boat and teach there staff the same information that won t hurt there customers but thank you Kelly
