My experience was great because everyone is so kind

My experience was great because everyone was so nice and kind to me and everyone else This company can teach kids what they want to teach in the time period while having fun and interacting in the class all at the same time

Great Reading program

This reading program has been a blessing this summer 2020 This is my daughters second time in the program and although this summer was a little different since it was online it was still an amazing program She learned how to read with fluency and was able to practice her comprehension a lot So blessed with this program

My daughter avoided the Covid slide

The reading program was a blessing after the Covid schools shut down It kept my daughter reading engaging novels and helped her improve not only her comprehension but fluency and decoding skills as well Thank you Aymee DeToma

A Great Program

We began this program in the Fall of 2020 for my then 1st grader who was below average for her level At the end of the program which was in time for mid-year assessments her level increased to her appropriate level I decided to enroll her in the program again during the summer to ensure she remained at her appropriate reading level for 2nd grade We have seen a tremendous increase in her reading ability and confidence I highly recommend this program

My daughter is no longer afraid of writing without mom s help or feedback She s a 4th grader and for the first time she is reading beyond her grade level thanks to this program She loves it so much that she wants to continue another season

I think this was a great class for my

I think this was a great class for my daughter who is entering 7th grade She really enjoyed the books she read She said her teacher was encouraging and nice I loved that this program gave assignments to help her with comprehension vocabulary speed reading and writing skills I plan to have her take it again next year The class went very smoothly All the reminder emails before each class was so helpful and made it so easy

Our son loved the program and the video

Our son loved the program and the video sessions online in between our Zoom classes were very well made He laughed out loud so much while watching them and we can see the difference in his reading comprehension sight words and phonics It has also helped him to develop a love of books that was our goal We have continued reading and doing the online exercises even after the program has ended the only suggestion we gave to our wonderful teacher is that the program include more diverse books where black and brown kids can see themselves in the stories We appreciated the African folktale The Alligator and the Hen very much We weren t sure how this would translate on Zoom in COVID and were very pleased with how well our teacher kept the kids engaged in their sessions Our son really looked forward to seeing the other kids every week

The online class assisted my child in

The online class assisted my child in getting him ready for fourth grade His reading and writing skills have improved tremendously After school ended so abruptly with the COVID-19 virus I wanted to make sure his skills are on track for the upcoming school year

My son stayed engaged with reading over the summer which is a struggle for us

The reading skills program was very well organized and helpful It helped my son stay engaged with reading over the summer I would recommend the program for any students who have been struggling with reading or are at risk of falling behind over the summer without practice

Middle School Prep

I have 12 year old triplets and after several months of online learning they seemed to have lost their love or learning I signed them up for the study prep to help them get ready for Middle school this past summer and it has made a world of difference If I could do anything over in my own education it would have been to learn how to study at a younger age This course gave my kids a foundation that will last a lifetime Beyond that in this pandemic education world IRD revitalized their love of reading as well as learning I will be forever greatful and you have made a customer for life
