One month in Lisbon

Amazing time with an amazing group of people in Lisbon This has truly opened my eyes to what travel can be peeling off many new layers of experiences From being the kind of guy to backpack through a country spending 2-3 days in a city before moving on I now feel that even one month isn t enough to get to know a vibrant city like Lisbon properly This trip has been the best thing I ve ever done and I will be coming back to Remote Year for more trips in the future

Remote Year Lisbon June 23 - a fantastic experience The city is full of life culture art and music and traveling as part of RY was really special The city team - Pedro and Viviana - were exceptional and they helped make the experience so great start to finish If you re able to work and travel yet don t want to travel totally solo this is a great option for you in Portugal

What made my experience great Definitely our guides Thiago and Cori Lynn and the wonderful group of travelers that were on this journey before and will continue after The events were thoughtfully planned my apartment and roommate couldn t have worked out better and the memories oh the memories I actually almost cancelled right before It would have been one of the biggest mistakes of my life Just go Book it Bring sandals and a few swimsuits

Maria made RY Medellin amazing

Medellin stole my heart and it wouldn t have been the same without RY s amazing Mar a Alejandra Ocampo She took care of all of us and made sure we had a beautiful experience Wherever she is with RY I will follow her

An August Adventure in Colombia with Remote Year

Thanks to Remote Year this August I found myself taken in by the charms of Medellin For anyone thinking about going - do it Every adventure was memorable - hiking through the scenic landscapes of Antioqu a and Santa Marta was a breath of fresh air the climb up the 700 stairs of Guatape Rock offered spectacular views paragliding over Medellin was the cherry on top adding adrenaline to the journey Balancing work and play was a made easy with the coworking space I loved the atmosphere and found I was super productive throughout the month A huge huge shoutout to Cata and Maria With their energy oversight and guidance my trip was made so much easier They were both super attentive making it easy to dive into the joys of Medellin without the stress A heartfelt thank you to Remote Year for putting together a month of unforgettable memories I can t wait to be back

1 month program in Valencia

I participated in the 1 month program in Valencia Not only is the city beautiful but the City Team is exceptional Marina had so many activities planned to help us get to know the city and also bring us closer together as a group I truly believe having this City Team made the experience THAT much more special This trip was transformational and I left feeling like I d gained life long friendships

The city of Valencia is beautiful and the city team Marina and Julio is awesome They both went above and beyond to give our group unique local experiences and ensure our trip was amazing Highly recommend booking the RY trip in Valencia This was my 5th one-month trip with RY and I can t recommend their trips enough I ve made several lifelong friends through the program and am excited to continue booking more RY trips in the future
