Renttoownlistingz Scam

Found a promising rental on Craigslist contacted the person by email listed in the ad and within minutes received a vague email reply from a completely different email with a link to apply I responded to the email asking if I could look at the property before applying and again within minutes received a reply to simply apply via the link provided Clicking the link redirected to renttoownlistingz com and after filling out all of the requested information there were no listings for the house and instead was then prompted for my credit card information It was at this point that I ceased all further activity for this listing Since then I ve received close to 40 spam emails from various rental rent to own places Since I have not provided my information elsewhere it s highly suspicious and I suspect that renttoownlistingz com is datamining or phishing I ve yet to find a live person to speak with nor a legitimate rental so beware of any listings from this place

Scam Listing Rent-to-Own House

I found a beautiful dream home in a dream neighborhood on craigstlist Emailed them directly the email was a foreign name like Kahilil Hazary or something similar to that I asked when we could view it and all they told me was a once sentence email saying fill out the app link provided to schedule a viewing or to appy to rent to own Obviously I wanted to schedule a time I click it and it takes me to the renttoownlistingzwebsite which wants your name address and phone number then wants to direct you to a credit score entry to see if you quality You can t ever get to any listings of houses I stopped at the credit score attempt from them screw giving anyone my social I can see where they get people though because if you click on the Norton or the Better Business Bureau links at the bottom they open up and look legit I emailed the person back asking why I should have to sign up for an acct to view a house All she said was no problem and blew me off Scammers

I recently came across several craigslist apartment ads which referred people to this website I assumed they did credit checks for landlords but it turned out to be very suspicious and obviously illegitimate You just keep entering personal information and going in circles Beware

Same story as everyone else on here Sent an email regarding a home that was to good to be true get an email back from another person telling me to fill out the their application Delete delete delete

Similar to other s experiences I found a great looking rental on craigslist I m usually pretty good at identifying the scam right away - I ve lived in this city long enough to know when something is too good to be true - but the post seemed legitimate with a normal gmail email address I emailed about seeing it and received a one line cold response from a completely different email address they directed me to fill out my info at a link that led me to Renttoownlistingz com Seemed fishy so a quick Google search led me here to confirm my suspicions Don t trust it Don t give out any of your info Definitely a scam

SCAM Find theirs add on the for rent session of craigslist send an email they emailed back with a different name and email address The email had a link to renttoownlistingz I started to get suspicious about the whole thing googled it and found these reviews Thank God Also I deleted their cookies they download on my computer browser check your browser s instruction to do this
