My experience hasn t been good at all
I was supposed to receive a card by November 10 to replace my Oportun card I have called 4 times each time I am being told they are sending a new one It s now December 19 I STILL don t have a card

Sound like a greedy company that just keeps padding the bill
Just as with others can t access the account that was with Oportun Only way to access is online and they keep auto debiting my account No way to get on to it since I have never received a card from them Very shady Want the auto payments disabled Bet the side stepping this as with others that have had this issue Was never notified it was being switched to Revel also

Bank of Missouri bought out my previous
Bank of Missouri bought out my previous CC company I canceled my CC prior to the acquisition However Im still stuck dealing with a company that is absolutely worthless offered me zero benefits Unless paying annual fees a APR higher than a payday loan monthly maintenance fees is the benefit On top of this my first statement has discrepancies that could damage my credit Very unhappy extremely disappointed would not recommend this card to ANYONE

I am experiencing significant anxiety
I am experiencing significant anxiety and stress due to this card change especially since there was no prior consultation with customers regarding whether they agreed to it I do not understand why I was charged 5 95 to make a payment especially since it is not my fault that I did not receive the card I am also not in agreement with the changes to the terms This situation has left me very disappointed

Immoral ridiculous and trash
They continue to make me create a new account any time I login They continue to say i dont have the correct info even though its the info used everytime to make the account This causes my payments to be late I can t login to see balance history limit and they do not notify me via email or phone Very sketchy

If I could give a zero I would I received a letter in October 2024 that this company had purchased my Oportun account and would be sending me a card in 7 to 10 days No card arrived I called in November and again in December to say I had not received a card Now it is January and no card has ever arrived I don t think they ever sent one I will pay this off now and be shut of the awful company Don t use this company

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had an Oportun credit card I opted to NOT get a Revel credit card when Oportun changed to Revel Now I can t pay my bill on line and see my statement They require the last 4 digits of the Revel credit card to pay my bill I DO NOT HAVE A REVEL CREDIT CARD I can t enter the last 4 digits if I don t want or have a Revel credit card I called their customer support and they said they will send me a statement Never received one I am writing to the credit reporting agencies as I will NOT pay anything until I see a statement I WANT TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT CHARGING me an annual fee

The card is packed with costly fees With the Revel Mastercard issued by The Bank of Missouri and serviced by Continental Finance you ll be assigned fees that fall between the following ranges depending on the card s terms An annual fee 75 - 125 After that 99 - 125 annually A monthly maintenance fee 0 - 10 per month up to 120 annually This fee isn t billed for the first 12 months the account is opened but if you re paying any kind of maintenance fee it s a red flag Most credit cards don t charge them Bad Bad Customer service with no answers

Bad company
Received a letter in mail this card was replacing the opportun visa I had Same credit limit no annual fee I activated the card 5jis was several months ago Paid balance in full in December Checked account online and it showed a 99 balance Called customer service several times and finally got through I explained I am NOT willing to pay an annual fee for the card and especially when it is 99and I had NO annual fee on the previous card Requested to cancel closed the card Spoke to a Joshua who put me on hold When he came back on the line he said the card account was closed 2 business days later the 99was deducted from my checking account I immediately called and now they are saying they will refund but have to mail a check within 7 to 10 business days I normally do not put reviews out but wanted to warn anyone thinking about this card company I would give 0 stars if I had that option

I have been with Oportun for 3 years I
I have been with Oportun for 3 years I feel Revel is not fair we never had to give our Checking account information nor we ever changed extra for using our debit card I think it s bull shit to charge us extra 5 95 so we can make a payment some of us are on fixed income others get paid by weekly I am so pissed
