AVOID Terrible customer service

AVOID Terrible customer service Paid for next day delivery items were not shipped for 10 days when arrived the wrong items were sent Returned at my expense and promised a refund for return postage now I have no items no return postage and no refund for the items Customer service is a joke promised callbacks that don t happen fighting to get my money back Avoid at all costs I added this review last year and see Ribble asked Trustpilot to remove it saying it wasn t genuine I have only just seen the email about it so have resubmitted it In response to your reply yes you finally refunded after 2 weeks and after I wrote this review and needing lots of interaction from me plus you flagged my review as false to get it removed

Never received my bicycle

Ribble moved my shipping date to a date I wouldn t be at home and I reached out to try reschedule but after multiple mails they still haven t responded Parcel force attempted delivery but I still have no way either through parcel force or Ribble to reschedule and I don t know how I m going to get my bike Further to the reply below Tried Ribble customer service chat their response was phone parcel force and they cut the chat where I couldn t reply any further just had a blue ring around the chat

The Urban AI e I had ordered back in

The Urban AI e I had ordered back in August 2023 after 3 missed delivery dates finally arrived 8 3 24 A very good looking bicycle however the forks are loose Having contacted Ribble they provided me with a link as to how to adjust the forks Which I couldn t do On investigation it appears a couple of spacers are missing below the handlebars Contacted Ribble by email and they un helpfully suggested I fill in a warranty claim This isn t a warranty claim it is an issue of an incorrectly supplied product So much for buying British The website claims all bikes hand built in Britain I suspect that should say hand assembled either way the service so far is very very poor How much longer before I get a working bicycle

Still can t communicate with Ribble

I have cancelled the order and bought a bike through Tredz- who talk to their customers Got through to Ribble another 30min of my life I won t get back I ve cancelled the order Ordered a new bike from Tredz

Laughable service

Just to add you re the experts I m trying to buy if they re not compatible what are compatible with the bike you are building Following Ribble reply still laughable- contact customer service - that s the problem can you tell me not how but will anyone respond Communication not great Long delay with any response from customer service even though it s a new order Real time video- good use of technology but advisors limited in any response Wanted mud guards fitted to a new build bike sorry can t do it laughable Wouldn t use again

Poor ongoing parts supply

9 years ago I bought a Ribble R872 I now need a derailleur hanger Ribble no longer stock the appropriate one This means my bike is now scrap as the current iteration of the R872 uses a different hanger So as can be seen below Ribble did eventually find the correct hanger on a third party website It took them 7 days to do it and on checking the site it s out of stock So my bike is basically scrap Thanks Ribble

Be Aware

Bike arrived timely and well packaged and simple to assemble I was very pleased with my purchase for 5 days and a total of about 30 miles Then a fault developed and the power was not being delivered properly and the bike started making a worrying noise Contacted Ribble by their website help screen and followed with email and attached photos of the bike Still waiting for a reply So far my purchase experience was a positive one however after sales so far is negative The fault may be a simple and easy fix but without communication the bike is slowly gathering dust I hope I don t live the regret buying from Ribble

significant delivery delays bad communication

Initial estimate for a standard build CGR no custimization shipping was about 3 weeks which was fine with me since it was not the season yet Couple days prior to that estimated shipping date I checked in with the customer service to find out if this shipping date will be met to which I got the reply that the build is delayed due to the lack of freehub spacers and the new estimateed shipping date is a month away Freehub spacer does not seem to me like a hard part to get- they are 5 pound item availeble with next day delivery on Amazon It also seemed to me that I was made aware of that only because I asked otherwise they would not even bother to give me an update And of course they have 80 GBP cancellation fee just because it is a custom build even if in fact it is not Why would you sell something that you don t have and do not know when you ll have it Disappointing

A terrible experience not to be repeated

A shocking experience I will not be repeating Terrible customer services If you are happy buying a new bike you have to assemble yourself with no bike fit or bike shop support go for it
