No customer service help request answered LSA is a LIE
Purchased A miter saw a year ago and registered for LSA it was stuck in LSA for 6 months At that point it fell off my radar I do reviews online and wanted to get some more tools and purchased a 5 tool kit and registered and its still in LSA I have long forgotten what email I used to try and register before and so I am attempting to register again Both being stuck in LSA I have called directly In fact I am currently on hold for 2 hours 6 min right now and keep hearing a pick up and beeps as I believe I just keep getting put on hold I also have an open live chat request that s been open for some time now with no response as well as several emails sent to customer service with no response It s like they are avoiding anything to do with LSA with is a huge selling point of their product with leads me to believe it is a deceptive marketing campaign I want them to honor the lifetime agreement and resolve this in a more timely manner

Useless Customer Service
Customer service has been useless since the end of December 2023 with respect to shipping of the missing part for a shop vac that I had purchased at Home Depot First they told me it would be up to 8 days after that it was 4 weeks It s been 2 5 months now and still nothing In the beginning it was a person named Jay who was answering Then they switched to a general Customer Support The best part is they collected all the info they needed including the shipping address and asked a bunch of questions What a waste of time

POOR Customer Service
I Bought drill and sought service from LSA POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE Customer service per Kinsley Willis asked for make model serial which was all sent on May 6 2024 with photos of bill sale tool original box No reply or confirmation of receipt or time line for resolution was ever received other than they were backlogged Side note My son waited 5 months for a resolution Side note Home Depot has reduced their display of Ridgid Maybe their partnership will end soon I will reconsider buying Ridgid now I will not send a photo to trustpilot but I am a real consumer

Warranty service is UNACCEPTABLE
This company has a terrible unacceptable customer service system to get replacement batteries and warranty work done First of all you cannot speak to anyone in Canada about any issue or questions you are directed to the USA The Canadian is still going to the USA I purchased a set of about 5 tools back in 2017 Both batteries pretty much Stop working within a month of each other I called for replacements They were every good on the phone and said I would have them within 14 days Almost a month later No batteries Called again They sent them to the Wrong address They sent them out again waited about 3 weeks and No Batteries Called again They had some crazy story about why they were not shipped Still waiting on the batteries for over 2 months now I am now in Eastern Canada and to get my reciprocating saw repaired I have to drive about 160 KMS one way while waiting on hold for over 1 1 2 hours I laugh at one of the recorded things they say We have a great warranty if something goes wrong we will have it corrected in 14 days 2 major problems with this What do you use for tools for 2 weeks and in my case over 2 months Home Depot needs to set in here and get something much more reasonable for its Canadian Customers and maybe the USA customers if they have the same issues

Horrible warranty service
Hello I have been a loyal customers for almost twenty years I only bought Ridgid because of the warranty Every time I purchase a tool I immediately register it as part of our company protocol Today after being on hold for forty minutes I accept the option for a call back An hour an a half later I get a call back The woman I spoke to told me I need to drive 180 miles round trip to get my tools serviced since your website wasn t functioning properly and we couldn t find my tools Finally she found the tool we were looking for then hung up and never called back So all the wait for nothing Then I waited on hold for another hour and a half with no option for a call back this time I dont understand that I gave up and tried the website again When I get on the website I click on start a claim link which asks me for the tool model number So I enter the model number no tool can be found So then I have to go find the tool in my tool box which has 11 pages of tools Once I find the tool next to the picture of the tool there is an option to again file a claim When I click that link it takes me back to the same page where the search option cant find the tool So it basically takes us into a circle So then I go back to my tool box find the tool and then find the kit it was purchased in and then file another claim using the toolkit tool number this is a very important instruction should be given You aren t supposed to enter the tool number but rather the tool kit number Why cant we look up tools by serial number Why are the instructions so poor However even when I find the toolkit number and then find the right tool the claim says the tool isnt under warranty anymore even though it is and its a lifetime in my toolbox it says the tool is under warranty which is correct When I try to chat with customer service it s a useless AI program that only knows maybe four commands Wow So ridiculous I cant connect with anyone over the phone or chat the website cant find the tools when it does it incorrectly has them listed as not under warranty When I wait on the phone hours customer service disconnects call and doesnt call back Today I have wasted hours on your program and good loyal customers should be treated as such Even the voiceover lady on the hold line says as much Do better Rigid you have forever lost my business

A lifetime warranty but they don t verify your purchase so you don t actually get the warranty
You get a lifetime warranty that you have to register within a certain time period So you do and they tell you they will verify your purchase I purchased it at Home Depot so no problem right Now five years later I go to register a new tool and--while my registration emails exist and I know I did it--none of the tools show up in my registered tools Ergo they never took the time to verify my purchase or they never bothered to tell me if something was wrong I haven t received a single email from Rigid since that day If this is how you treat your customers I will never buy another tool from your brand And I will return my new tool asap I d rather pay double for a brand that values their customers

Poor warranty support bad compressor
I have called in 3 different times - last one I waited 1 5hrs for Escalation support I have a barely used 6 gallon pancake compressor that is leaking and still under warranty First two times I called in I was given a name number vendor who can work on the product Both do not service Rigid and have attempted to convey this to Rigid multiple times The third time I was provided a location that is 1 hr and 20minutes away This has not been a pleasant experience

I was waiting for Black Friday
I was waiting for Black Friday hoping that some items might go on sale But today to my surprise I saw that the items were marked as on sale while also listed as Out of Stock Honestly there was no need to lie to customers It would ve been better if they hadn t done this at all This kind of behavior shows a lack of integrity and it s hard to trust brands or companies that act this way I won t forget the name RIDGID Home Depot of this company and others that follow similar practices When a company lies to its customers how can we trust the quality of their products Let s not forget it s the customers who keep businesses running For me even at the original price this product is no longer worth it If a distributor or producer deceives customers they lose all credibility Whether it s Home Depot or the manufacturer RIDGID at fault here they owe customers an explanation
