Worst moving company in the worldI had problems from the moment i contracted them They first asked me to make a long video of each room and said this would be sufficient to make an offer I took a film of each room and sent it to them I asked many times if all is clear they said absolutely as I sent very detailed videos of each room It was a 4 bedroom house They first never delivered the boxes and claimed they were delivered and later said they went to someone else I had to buy boxes myself Then they came for a 220 sqm house with a tiny truck and one person it was an absolute joke I had a fixed contract and even for packing I did almost half of the packing with someone else that I commissioned and paid on top They did not do what they were contracted for I had to pay almost 3 times the amount agreed as they had to send 2 more tracks and If I did not pay it directly online they would not finish my move They did not even take all and said the second day that if I don t pay another truck they wont take it I really had it with them and unfortunately had used them to storage all as I was moving from London to Milan but only needed all man months later I will write another post on the delivery after paying another 4 weeks an astronomical storage sum for being stored not in London but Dorset My next post will be about how they destroyed most of my items and some are not even delivered so that I had to sue them now Everything they were supposed to pack was either not packed or so poorly that all got destroyed This company should be out of business They have bumped my belongings into their storage for 4 months and when they delivered to a storage in Milan they did not arrive at 8 am as agreed but one truck at 10 another at 12 and the third at 4 pm Many inter were missing and most important xurntiruea dn artworks and others were not wrapped Everything they had to warp they did not do or did not package it correctly they deterred my artwork furniture and even piano and I am missing several valuable items and took then now to court They must have made the reviews here from fiends accounts as the experience was so extremely bad that there is nov way this happened the first time At 9 pm the Romanian Bulgarian driver wanted to leave as they said they were not paid to take anything into my storage I had actually paid to even install at a new apartment in Milan I ended up renting a furniture apartment so that is why I had to get all into storage The Bulgarian driver said his boss called him and said he has to drop some furniture as a truck broke of another moving company and was paid 50 euro when he had to bring one truck and upload al The guys wanted to leave at 9 pm and leave me with my furniture all outside I had to call the Polish owner of right moving who is an extremely rude and unprofessional guy Only after a lot of convincing did they stay I had so much furniture broken and damaged and the Secretay said not worry as her boss would replace all by the insurance They told me that the insurance would cover 1 million when I asked how much and if my artwork would be covered Later he said that I did not have an insurance for artwork This is fraud I will attach if possible images to show how they even deterred my piano and many items that were not packed or in any wau protected I am waiting now for the court case the time it took me is insane and as I said there was not one thing that went smooth It was a shocking experience If I can upload I will to see how nothing was protected or packed and all destroyed

I used the company to move house abroad from the UK at first everything seemed nice and the people were nice However unloading was very bad - drivers smelled of alcohol boxes were placed upside down etc Some furniture got badly damaged we filled the insurance claim including proof of the damages insurance was in the contract and included in the price After that the director of the company sent multiple emails stating they will take legal actions against us report us to Guardia Civil it is military police in Spain take us to court due to fraud etc however we were never contacted by the insurance company nor reimbursed for the damages now more than a month after the move

My experience of moving with this company was very stressful and unpleasant I asked for a quote for a 3-bedroomed house and was told to send videos and photographs via WhatsApp which I did What I didn t realise at the time was that one of the videos hadn t gone through The company sent me a quote which I accepted However I queried whether the size of the van would be adequate but was simply told that they were confident it would be The quote had in fact been made on the basis of a much shorter video of one bedroom and nobody thought to query this despite my having asked for a quote for a three bedroomed house Later I was asked for a full inventory for customs which I ended up sending three times as they had sent the wrong forms Still nobody checked this against the quote On the day I was told that the van couldn t fit everything in When I spoke first to the manager and a colleague they both immediately denied any culpability at all I admitted it was my fault for not checking the second video had gone through but I had sent them a full inventory months in advance The manager then booked two vans through contractors and as I had no choice I had to agree to the additional charges On the way to Ireland we were told that we had to pay the full amount by midnight or they would not deliver our goods Even when we paid 4 000 and asked if we could negotiate a discount on the remainder The manager s response was that he was redirecting our vans to the local police station His emails were ranting bullying and aggressive We were forced to pay over 5 000 His approach was utterly unprofessional and aggressive and it added hugely to the stress of the move So if you want a moving company who act professionally when things go wrong I would definitely avoid this company I also note other reviewers have had similar experiences The drivers and the guys helping him were very nice and efficient however just a shame about the management

My husband and I chose to use RightMoving for our move to Switzerland because they were able to offer us our own van rather than part-load and this way we d get our stuff in two days rather than 5-18 that most companies were offering The price was better than other offers as well so even though RightMoving was a new company and we knew we were taking a risk booking with them we felt that on balance it was worth it to know the date when our things would arrive Mario and Aga were very responsive throughout the process and got everything booked in and arranged easily On the moving date in the UK the driver and the helper were on time and Artur who came to help was very helpful and very nice Unfortunately the driver was from an agency because of the lockdown rules in the UK and perhaps didn t know he was supposed to help with on-loading and off-loading so he stayed in the car My husband was very happy to help though so the driver got on without any issues We received regular updates from Mario and everything went smoothly until the van got to the Swiss border The Swiss customs officer decided to make things very difficult and caused a delay of about 8 hours and we ended up having to pay VAT on our old stuff just to speed up the process this was not RightMoving s fault as we had all the required paperwork the customs officer just decided he didn t believe I was moving to Switzerland for work even though I had a letter from my job saying I had been offered a job By the time the van got to our new apartment in Switzerland the person who Mario had arranged to come and help had left and Mario wasn t able to arrange anyone at such short notice which was completely understandable Due to the driver s heart condition he wasn t able to help moving our stuff up the stairs into our flat so I ended up having to carry almost everything myself my husband hadn t arrived in Switzerland yet I couldn t get the heaviest things so the next morning the driver one of our neighbours and my rental agent helped me move the rest of the stuff up the stairs Mario had found someone to help but we had moved everything in by about 9am so didn t end up needing them at the end Because the company promised two men at both collection and delivery Mario very quickly repaid us what he would have paid for people to help with carrying the stuff On balance I m very happy with the service I always felt like Mario was there to help at any point I needed and I know he worked incredibly hard to sort everything out even with all the problems which were outside of his control The only reason I gave four instead of five stars was because I felt RightMoving should have vetted the driver more thoroughly even if he came from an agency and I m sure they will after the experience I would definitely use RightMoving again in the future

Everything went smoothly from assisting us in completing the customs forms organising collection and delivery and providing help and advise along the way A big thank you to Chloe in the office for that

I have only positives to say about this company All my belongings from UK to Germany arrived on time and completely damage free The service was excellent The moving team were very professional and friendly I can only highly recommend this company 5 Stars is not enough
