Charged my credit 200 no way to cancel

They charged my credit 200 dollars even though I had requested that they cancel it almost a year ago I asked for a refund and they told me they dont give refunds They should not have charged my card in the first place for a cancelled service Now I will be charged again next year unless I cancel my card because there is no place online to cancel it Only through customer service that lies to you and tells you you are cancelled and then charges again next year So sick of them BEWARE OF FRAUD

I don t recommend

Got the one year subscription about 6 months ago They made changes in January and the subscription no longer works Spoiler alert they jacked up the price about 3 x what I paid They have no customer service or people you can reach to help Lost my money on this one

App superseded by ChatGpt

Recently tried out the app Rytr and was extremely disappointed with the experience In comparison to ChatGpt sorry can t help comparing Rytr falls short in almost every aspect ChatGpt has a much more advanced chatbot that provides more personalized and helpful responses I honestly can t think of anyone to whom I would recommend Rytr After all not only is ChatGpt free it also offers a much more enjoyable and reliable experience

Not in compliant with California Law

As of July 2022 any company that gives a year subscription and services California needs to provide a notice within 15 - 45 days of that it will renew Currently rytr does not do this and charged me for a year of a service I never used They gave no warning that I should cancel and their chat is unresponsive

Credit card fraudWarning This company only accepts credit card payments I was kicked out of the system before the deadline The support does not respond to anything Despite the non-fulfillment on the part of Rytr this company has charged me again According to Rytr s terms and conditions there are no refunds Despite the new debit Rytr does not grant access Cancellation is not possible because you have to be logged in Please do not give the company your credit card information The reaction from rytr is pure eyewash rytr has received my e-mail at least 20 times After that still no reaction

I canceled this service in February

I canceled this service in February 2023 yet they renewed it for me anyway on Jan 2nd 2024 I cannot remove my credit card from thier system because it says an active sub-subscription exists I sent them an email and am still waiting to hear back from them Their LinkedIn page says they are in Delaware their Facebook page says you re in California and the receipt says you re in Wyoming Where are they

There are much better tools out there

There are much better tools out there that are free I always had to rewrite multiple times to get an acceptable response Also there customer service is not helpful I didn t get notification they were going to bill and I no longer was with the company I was using this tool with They charged my personal credit card without authorization and wouldn t refund Find a better tool

Expensive With Mediocre Results

Rytr gives mediocre results that you could get for free from any other open ai platform They will also charge you with no reminder or notice and have a zero refund policy Any issues I ve had and contacted customer service they have been unhelpful and short in answers

I canceled my sub and then the company updated everything and now they are charging me even after I cancelled my subscription They didn t even provide me with a cancellation email My advice to them is to ask chatgpt3 how to build a direct debit sub that works and how to treat customers with respect as opposed to accusing them I would avoid at all costs
