A very pleasant member of staff However the whole process of buying a car is torturous very time consuming and far too much paperwork I ve completed fewer forms when buying a house A review of so many forms needs to be undertaken it cannot be necessary to have so many different forms

Purchased 2 new cars

What had been an excellent start to the process of buying two new cars was sadly let down by a lack of internal communication resulting in taking a week to receive refunds for our previous cars and lots of chasing and escalating from us However if you do plan to buy a new car go see Jack The guy was an absolute legend and incredibly passionate about his job We received regular updates and our excitement was most definitely shared with him I sincerely hope he continues to do really well at the dealership and am grateful for the level of service he gave us

The new buying process need refining it s a mess

The Sandown end of things weren t a problem but the changes made by Mercedes-Benz by becoming the seller of the vehicle were onerous problematic and amateurish I nearly cancelled the order for my car because of the various cock-ups by MB The Sandown salesman saved the day by his actions So the five stars that you would have got are reduced to three and you have MB to thank for this

Salesman Luke was very good and

Salesman Luke was very good and knowledgeable however the car has 2 faults firstly there was no coolant in the header tank and after 10 miles the warning light came on and secondly the forward facing camera and sensors are not working so I m having to take the car in to be looked at and diagnosed

The advert for the new CLA180 promised drive away in 14 days Delivery in fact took over 5 weeks Due to Mercedes ageist policy I was denied the opportunity for a test drive and similarly the 7 day free insurance cover was disallowed for the same reason However the above was offset somewhat by the helpful friendly and professional staff at the Mercedes Poole showroom

Replacement car

Initial response from Sandown staff was slow lack of interest but once Alice Lane became involved she more proactive and gave us excellent service As we were without a car she made time to collect and take us to the showroom

Good car as described delivered as arranged Feel a bit like just another number to them always had an appreciation of your business from the last 25 years of buying Mercedes from other dealers not this time not even a thank you for your order

A class thermostat housing failure

Our 19reg A class with 36000 miles has just had a thermostat housing failure repaired at a cost of 730 can t believe this should fail so soon we ve been told that they see a few of these potentially this could have ended up with an engine failure The branch has replaced this in a timely manor The vehicle health check stated that a rain sensor and lower arm and discs and pads will need replacing shortly This is our fourth Mercedes purchased for quality and reliability We have five other vehicles in our business this vehicle is the least cost effective to run Mercedes your making it very hard to justify buying another as clearly the reliability and quality is no longer there

My first online purchase but because it was Mercedes I decided to go ahead Everything was fantastic until I had paid for the car then things went downhill broken promises and keep having to push things that are outstanding I have had company cars delivered in the past but the seven minutes to drop a car off and pick up a PX is the new record

Misleading Advertisement About Car Play

Recently purchased a used 2019 reg A-Class Premium AMG line I had a good experience with the initial sales process and the team was helpful in arranging the purchase of my car However I was led to believe based on the website advertisement and my conversations with the team that Apple CarPlay was included as part of the vehicle s standard features Unfortunately I later found out that it requires an additional purchase of 300 to activate it which was not made clear to me at the time of purchase This lack of transparency has left me disappointed as it was a one of key reasons why I chose the car I reached out for clarification and a potential resolution but I was told that there was nothing they could do If I had know that it s additional extra I would have at least checked it before purchasing Unfortunately I was not aware of it and I took their word for it and left disappointed
