Great quality care from a fab team

The care and treatment I ve had from Skelian has been second to none The whole team from initial query through to treatment has been great I needed an asap appointment for an injury and was seen within 24 hours The treatments themselves have been well explained why they re doing it and how it will benefit me and administered with care and compassion I m a month into treatment and it has already made a significant improvement to my health and wellbeing

Sports physiotherapy rugby injury

I referred one of my players to Jonathan for a second opinion and a steroid injection of his ankle after 4 months of pain following an injury playing rugby Jonathan got the player into clinic within 2 days of my request and provided me with a thorough report on his findings Jonathan injected the ankle which had an immediate effect on the players pain 3 weeks later after a graded rehab programme the player has returned to semi professional rugby pain free and thrilled with the service he received At a cost to the player that is significantly cheaper than other options available to him I would not hesitate to send another player to Jonathan and would emplore other sports medicine professionals to do the same if needed Thanks Jon

I ve been seeing the lovely Alex for just two and a half weeks with a neck shoulder pain issue I ve had for many years I was previously told by a physio that it was genetics and there were things we could do to mitigate the pain but it would always be there more or less Since seeing Alex and Dean once I not only am virtually pain free but I can visibly see the improvement I never thought that would be possible and can t thank him enough He s also the first person to explain exactly what the issue was and is going to show me how I can strengthen the right muscles to keep the issue from reoccurring which gives me hope that the future will remain pain free I also have a labral hip tear that s been ruling my life for the last 15 months After telling Alex about it he recommended I see the specialist physio Jon at Skelian who gave me a steroid injection into my hip Whilst it s not cured it the pain is so vastly reduced it s such a relief not having that to contend with also and being able to move virtually pain free I got the appointment within days and it cost a fraction of the price of going to the Nuffield It s honestly changed my life coming to Skelian and I wish I d done it years ago Can t recommend these guys enough

I highly recommend Dean at Skelians because early last week I was in the most excruciating pain ever and was having pain going from my left buttock all the way down my leg and into my foot when I rang the office they said I could see him Monday 28th September which I took but then on the Thursday 24th September I rang them back to ask if there was any cancellations Friday could they give me a ring and bless Dean he offered to see me Saturday 26th September he done a few checks on me and looked extremely worried and wrote me a letter to take to the hospital for an emergency MRI scan but the hospital told me to through my doctor which I did I am now waiting for a phone call from the hospital I cannot thank Dean enough for noticing that there is definitely something wrong so thank you again Dean

I would just like to say a big huge massive thank you to Dean who I have seen three times in the last couple of weeks after having an MRI scan and finding out that I have a disc bulge before I had the scan I could hardly walk and over the last few weeks I have been finding it easier to walk all with the help of Dean s work when I walked into Skelians last night I was still in alot of pain in my calf area of my leg and I still had an area in my left buttock that was swollen but now the next day I am walking around hardly in any pain now and not only that but the swelling has gone down as well I have been off work for the last 6 weeks and I can finally go back to work now after next week so thank you ever so much again Dean for all of your amazing work for the help of getting life back to normal THANK YOU

Relaxed and relieved

I ve been having back and leg pain for years so I thought I need to do something about this so I booked an appointment with ash He gave me his specialised rockblade treatment which has really helped I can now walk a lot longer without pain so I could not recommend anyone more highly than ash So for all your sports therapy needs give skelian a call and book with him now

I would just like to say a big huge massive thank you to Victoria for her help with keeping me comfortable as I m waiting to see a surgeon about a disc bulge that I have been suffering with since the end of January and I have been in agony since then up until 2 weeks ago when she gave me acupuncture for the first time and I can t believe the difference in the pain level I saw her again today and she gave me more acupuncture and I even managed to walk home slowly as over the weeks that I have been seeing her I have been getting a taxi there and back as I couldn t walk very far especially walk home anyway so thank you again Victoria for doing such an amazing job
