The third-party involved lied to me

Skyscanner routed me to a third-party called trip com I booked my flight and within 24 hours I needed to cancel due to a family emergency that would require me to stay a day longer than I intended for my flight a month out When I called the third-party agency they said that they not only charged flight fees which was not true according to the airline I was flying with but they also claimed that there was no way I could cancel my flight within the 24 hour window After speaking with the airlines customer service line they also informed me that according to the department of transportation it is federal law that consumers have the right to cancel their flight within 24 hours of purchase as long as they are more than 24 hours within their flight departure So they lied to me Moreover I was unable to cancel my flight directly with my airline because they booked my flight under a company card so that if I did cancel my flight they would be refunded and I would not get my money back I will definitely be booking only direct from now on

There is nothing legitimate about illegality Skyscanner should not allow Trip com tarnish its own corporate image no one tries to swindle the Broadcast Journalist and wouldnt count losses If Trip com can not produce my travel ticket immediately They should return the received money into the source of the money Skyscanner should not try to play an accomplice game here otherwise there is more to lose It is very easy to refund the collected money to its source it travel ticket cant be released Prevail on Trip com to release my money otherwise Major AWARENESS to a Minimum of 70 of the travel population will be aware that Trip com is simply a fraudster a scammerPeople should be awareSkyscanner should endeavour to delist SCAM-like Travel service providers like Trip com and others from your website The trip com will only tarnish your reputation and trust that the travelling group have in you and run to trustworthy website to purchase flying tickets

Prices shown are not accurate always need to add at least 100 for long flights to reach the final ticket price This can be easily accounted for

I was diverted to eDreams via Skyscanner I payed but no tickets I called their Service Desk located in India where they give standar responses After numerous calls the issue has been resolved I expect Skyscanner to monitor its suppliers

I give it 2 stars because they give you prices that are not real Once you have put in all your information even credit card info they will say the price for the tickets you chose is not available anymore They did that to me over 5 times Very deceiving and shady
