Alerts are a good idea

I set up alerts for a couple of possible dates and two departure airports and appreciated the alerts However I had to do so again as Skyscanner stopped the alerts suggesting I was no longer interested in Calgary but how about Madrid I think it was Strange The new alerts led me to book Calgary flights at a good price so thank you Skyscanner

I have just arrived at the Hyatt

I have just arrived at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Algiers I had pre-paid 2 nights here with Trip Com but booked via Skyscanner On arrival I found out that my pre-paid reservation No 26494086870 had been cancelled in late September I had heard nothing from Trip com though their web-site does show that the booking was cancelled So I have to pay again at a much higher rate for a 2 night stay Trip Com did not send me a refund automatically which is very disappointing I have just E-Mailed them asking for it Will see what happens Update - I have now been re-imbursed and extra costs covered Skyscanner were very helpful in getting this resolved with Trip com

Not such a great experience this time

Not such a great experience this time I did a search from Edinburgh to Everywhere in December but weirdly Spain did not show in the results and I had to do a separate search It doesn t always miss out Spain but it makes me wonder if other destinations are being missed out As an aside it would be nice to filter out airlines I d rather not fly with before the results page Other than that all is good PS the date below is approximate

Broken filters and erroneous results

Ive used sky scanner for years but its filters dont work properly and it also often does not understand about connecting flights for example I often want to travel from Chiang Mai in Thailand to other places which often means changing in Bangkok Skyscanner doesn t seem to be able to compute this journey and often either claims the journey doesnt exist or sends me on a ridiculous journey around the world 49 hours once for a 4 hour flight It often means having to search for flights seperately Not knowing this could cause so many issues for people but be aware you may need to search for one leg at a time

Regular flyer to Bali

I m a regular flyer to Bali Indonesia always use Skyscanner to find my flights I spend quite a lot of time looking for the most suitable flights regarding price times stop- overs etc this is easy to read on Skyscanner The easy to read flight schedules prices work well for me My only criticism of Skyscanner is their recent messing with the site design it s not as easy to use as the original one hence I give 4 stars only

The hotel is very nice and the staff

The hotel is very nice and the staff are so helpful and trying to make everyone happy the location of the hotel are not bad it s beside everything and specially the transportation like the metro so i am happy of trying this hotel it s not a bad experience and i am sure that it will not be the last time of me choosing this hotel The rooms are big and their style are modern and good

Bad experience with travel brokers

I always use Skyscanner but have had problems with travel brokers they book flights take your money then cancel and leave you in a panic trying to get another flight Oposici n and Kiwi have both let me down in future I will only book if direct with airline

Good prices and loads of options

Good prices and loads of options Will prefer simpler booking process as there are too many questions insurances seat meals baggage etc Would be good to collate them together with an option to select all or reject all

Sky scanner is great

Sky scanner is great I have used them to find flights a few times now Super easy to use I would have given them 5 stars if they included smaller airlines in their search results as well I didn t find many viable options from flying from mexico to central America without having to go backwards into the usa first and having long layovers I found other airlines not on skyscanner that went directly there
