Recent purchases for skates
I have recently bought a new pair of skates some protective equipment and a heel brake from Slick Willie sThe heel brake I ordered online I had initially planned to buy in store but they had no stock in I thought I needed an L XL version but the staff member at the till informed me that the S M would fit my skates 3x 110mm and that I should buy that one instead I ordered it online before I even left the shop It came 2 days later in the post however very quickly I noticed it would not fit my skates I spoke to someone in store over the phone who seemed unsure and suggested I bring it to the shop with my skates to fit I said over the phone I have 270mm frames came as standard with my skates UK size 11 which might have been why they did not fit Fortunately they had the correct brake available in store and they fit perfectly for my skates The customer service I received was very good just the inconvenience of having to revisit the store in person to get the correct brake that I thought I would need initially was a little annoying especially as I live outside of Greater London hence the loss of a star
