It was nice to have so much information

Quick and courteous response A great place to start learning about solar options but focused mostly on solar panels for the roof of my home Hopefully the installers will also provide useful information about prerequisites for ground panel installation as well

It was nice to have so much information in one spot It helped me put together questions to ask the salesman of the different companies that I spoke to It also helped me compare the systems that they where offering to find the one that would best suit or lifestyle

The information provided was helpful but I was unhappy with the way my information was collected one piece of info at a time instead of a form to fill out Each time another piece of info was requested I felt less and less comfortable with giving it like i was being data minded With all of the scams on the internet these days just be up front with what you need

I have been researching solar

I appreciate the analysis by Solar-Estimate org for the precise questions related to my own house- of course i have specific questions since i do not know the difference between solar and solar with battery - also i do not know whether keeping gas along with electricity would reduce any other grid cost such as distribution charge by PG E plus generation charge by East Bay distributor

Overall good experience

I have been researching solar benefits disadvantages for about 18 months Most vendor sites are too elementary or over technical But they are about the sale I found the solar-estimate site accurate the point of the viewer ability to zoom into the exact room and its alignment with the sun I designed my roof to maximize sun light As such the consultant could provide a reliable energy estimate I know this site understands the importance of getting the correct data the first time The primer the site offers is very understandable But it even gets into the weeds regarding finding minutia By and large an excellent tool

Overall good experience My only suggestion for improvement would be an option for text only vs phone contact My work doesn t make it easy for non-work calls to come in and I had to send a lot to voicemail a few of which haven t as yet emphasis on yet been followed up on via text as I requested

My experience was brief I found the instructions easy to follow and stopped only when I decided to postpone and left the site Support email and phone call followed quickly so if I d wanted to talk to someone it would have worked out fine
