Milan and Lake Como

Good morning Arianna This is Alfredo Vichot writing to you about the fabulous trip that you tailored for us It was a wonderful experience on all counts Hotels selections of villas and drivers were outstanding The guides were superb All three gave us a lot of information Even the free time we had matched perfectly to discover more of Milan and Lake Como Valeria picked us on time and talked not only about the Lugano region and sites we visited but added history and anecdotes which made her a jewel when you put all her knowledge together Both Katerina and Barbara gave us an excellent tour touching on certain points of interest and also history Both spoke with intensity and emotion in their voices proud of their heritage and Italy The drivers were courteous and on time Tino was very good in handling curves and avoiding possible accidents on our way to Monte Bre I must mention Stefano who was our driver from Milan to Como and back He was engaging pleasant and time flew by fast The Hotels were perfect The Palace Hotel was centrally located--walking distance to the ferry boats piers Plaza Cavour restaurants and the Duomo The staff was friendly and helpful The breakfast room was outstanding as well as the breakfast selections The Lancaster hotel was located in a very nice neighborhood It was clean and the staff was always willing to help The young man at the front desk in the am who speaks Spanish was exceptional He managed to get us a taxi when an unsuspected taxi strike was declared the morning we were supposed to see The Last Supper Thanks to him we were able to get there on time Kudos to him The Lancaster hotel was also 20 minutes away through a pleasant walk to the Duomo going through the Arco Parco Sempione and the Castello Sforziano There were excellent restaurants a few blocks away on Corso Sempione We would definitely will stay again at the Lancaster Finally we would like to thank you for making our vacation an unforgettable experience We are planning a trip to Puglia in a not so distant future and we hope to enjoy that trip with the same intensity that we enjoyed this adventure Grazie mille

A group of friends and I really enjoyed our virtual grappa distillery tour that Jessica Proietti set up for us Now we have to go visit northern italy

Wow this travel agency was incredible From the get go they were a really good help We organised a phone call from Western Australia and after the call we decided how the trip would go We gave all of our ideas and our budget and then Jessica started our adventure she let us know from the beginning that the money for the trip bookings were in USD not AUD so it prepared us Jessica made changes when we asked and did such a great job in making the perfect itinerary for us We loved what she came up with from the private tours to the small group tours to the transportation and hotel organisation When we were in Italy and had some issues with transport the emergency app was always there to help assist us safely to our destination We also got regular check ups and greetings from the App I can t fault this company Thank you so much for everything We had the best trip Tours transport The Liv tours in Rome Florence Sorrento and Venice were all so amazing because every one of our tour guides were knowledgeable and from the home town of where the tours took Their passion for their family and home heritage was just beautiful to see We loved our private car trips too The drivers were so lovely and kind Tips We would probably research the train transport more as it was quite difficult to navigate Make sure you read the platform numbers and get there early

I am complicated and at times indecisive

I am complicated at times indecisive juggling an array of likes dislikes and preferences We had 7 travelers 2 couples and ages 22 17 10 Storywalking tours uncomplicated our 11 day trip to Italy It was amazing Truly turned out to be the very best vacation we have ever had They were patient and so kind through all of my questions and back and forth Private drivers private tours and so much more The Owner of Storywalking checked on us responded to questions we had when we were in town too Barbara was our point of contact while on the trip - she was available funny and provided even more recommendations when we were in her city She also made sure we left on time for tours were in the right spot with the name of our host hostess and directed us whenever we needed it She was a blessing Erini was our advisor she is a saint Trust me when I say I am indecisive She made it easy and provided mindful suggestions keeping every person in our party in mind We will absolutely be reaching out to them when we need to plan our next trip to Italy We all want to go back ASAP Do yourself a favor forget all of the other travel advisors you are speaking to - just jump in and commit to StoryWalking tours I highly doubt you will have the same experience with others - I know - because I spoke to A LOT of planners before selecting StoryWalking

My sister and I arranged this virtual tour of the Ricci Curbastro winery in Franciacorta with Eatales as a Mother s Day present and we couldn t recommend it more Especially right now when traveling isn t possible it was a special opportunity to visit Italy We received the wines a few weeks in advance of our virtual tour which came with details on each type of wine and suggestions for what to pair them with On the day of the tour Gualberto and Jessica were charming and informative guides and each glass of wine we tasted was more delicious than the last If you re missing Italy or simply love enjoying an excellent glass of wine this is a wonderful treat--and an excellent gift
