HEADLINE PRCE is good but the fact they dont price the luggage means you costs are going to go right up especially if you dont get all the details which seem few and contact the carrier prior to flight just a headline grabbing website really

Good prices but the customer service is terrible They called me after I have made the booking from the US which is costly for me to pick up as they wanted to confirm my purchase I did it online Of course I want to buy it And since my cards were not working something wrong with their site I had to use my partner s one And then they asked me to put him on the phone What for The website said that card name did not need to match the person flying details So why did they call me It was quite ridiculous the whole procedure and I would not buy with them again if I can avoid it

It was stressful as 6 hours after my flight booking student universe erroneously sent me an email saying my ticket couldn t be issued and they can no longer help me The flight was for next morning and it was the last ticket available I was very stressful They later sent me another email saying it was an error and finally issued a ticket which then the airline took overnight to confirm Till I received my online boarding pass I was highly stressed if I would be able to fly out or not It did come together at the end but after some stress

Terrible customer service and a travel protection plan that is effectively useless The lower prices only make the site marginally better than say Priceline or Expedia but the headache that follows is not If you decide to use it don t buy any of the extra embellishments as it s just a waste of money

It is disappointing that I received a phone call from their agent who bluntly questioned our passport s nationality by profiling our ethnicity hinted by our last name What an irony that the agent works in a sector that relies on global mobility Racial profiling of your customer is not acceptable

The hotel was 4 star when it was mentioned 5 star on the website I paid more than the fee shown in the receipt Too many different transaction fees even if I paid from uk This should have been mentioned earlier The breakfast wasn t included in the hotel when I arrived however the I paid for the deal including breakfast on the website

Prices fluctuated far too greatly between visits to the site Problems at checkout unable to purchase selected flights at specified prices prices were more expensive than displayed Made service seem unreliable almost Problems with friends checkout who was delayed when purchasing and had to pay 100 more than myself even though we booked within half an hour of each other

Even though I was refunded back for the hotel reservation I did through Student Universe I m highly disappointed I did the hotel booking on student universe site and when I went to the hotel lobby on that day the hotel admin told me that there is no room booked on your name I had to call student universe to get my money refunded Fortunately that room wasn t reserved by anyone else

My flights got canceled because the call to my mobile phone to confirm did not go through Nobody bothered to send an email just cancelled the flights thank god they had not been taken and I had somebody who was able to lend me their card to re pay The only reason ive put two stars is because the second oporator handled it very well unlike the first one We wont be using your service again
