Proceed with extreme caution Serving the interests of the airlines not their customers Our flight was cancelled for operational reasons and we tried unsuccessfully through Student Universe to get a refund We had to pay for another flight They made no effort at all to help us and the whole experience left a very bad taste not to mention 700 out of pocket No integrity Verging on criminal behaviour

Still waiting to hear something from Student Universe about the fact that one of the airlines we are scheduled to fly on has gone bankrupt I chatted with an agent from one of Student Universe s affiliates and she told me that they had already contacted their customers and rerouted them We ve heard nothing despite having written two emails Interesting that I got an almost instant reply to my bad review but can t seem to get information about my flights

I booked a flight through your website While filling in the information i wasn t able to put my passport number I thought it would be on the next step Unfortunately it wasn t and the money was transferred by you and no confirmation email has been sent to me or any other booking confirmation I checked my flights through their website and nothing was found even though the money was transferred

Asking for photos of my credit card and ID and a 3 hour window to reply I ve never been asked this by any other travel site Had I been booking something last minute and missed the window this would be incredibly stressful At least right not it s just very annoying and got me worried about fraud with the copies of my documents

Great at taking your money but after that just don t give a damn So if you are foolish enough to use this company hope that nothing goes wrong because if it does you are on your own Don t whatever you do use their preferred insurance company Ergo formerly ERV and do check the details of any flights to ensure that the cost is refundable in an emergency see Air Canada

Poor Company and poor service dont book
Poor Company and poor service dont book with them they all are scamers Whenever you book ticket after some time they will cancel it and do not refudn it Please never ever book with student universe

StudentUniverse reservation code SAAVZUSent 5 emails countless Facebook messages called 5 times 2 times waited 2 hours before the line cut out and no replies The airline has waived rescheduling fees because of the coronavirus so I asked studentuniverse to change my flight date SILENCE My first purchase with them and I will never ever ever ever interact with them again Avoid at all costs Do NOT reply with an innocuous apology I have shared my reservation code above so reply to my countless direct emails and messages You have my contact details in my purchase

DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS WITH STUDENT UNIVERSEwe booked flights from London to Australia for Christmas and Student Universe s system made an error on my partner s name on the ticket - he doesn t have a middle name and they added an errant MISS as HIS middle name Therefore the name on his ticket with the airline China Southern doesn t match his passport With any other travel agency they would clearly see that this is their error when raised and remedy the problem - i e call the airline and ask them to correct the name on the ticket it s within the airline s policy that they will do so under such circumstances Instead they are saying this is our error and we have been waiting three days for them to contact the airline and change the name on the ticket so that it is correct we are only two days out from a long haul flight the week before Christmas so we are obviously very stressed as other flights are now over 2000 each much more than we originally payed for our tickets Though apparently we are talking to real humans they sound like robots and go round and round in circles not able to do more than send one email per day to the airline what happened to agents who could pick up a phone and do their job The company are completely incompetent and useless it s not worth the saving you might make booking with them
