I booked the flight eventually but it was not a normal process the first time I got an error message saying that I needed to call the call center and then when I did they said the tickets had sold out at that price which just sounded like a lie So then I refreshed the webpage and was able to purchase tickets not sure why they did this otherwise the checkout experience would have been perfect Not a fan of websites that make you come offline to a dodgy sounding call centre

l can t change my flight date even though it says the flight can change I feel confused

I was unsure if i was eligible for the flight and rang the call centre Am still none the wiser and the call handler didn t appear to be very competent Was holding for ages and in the end hung up

Student Universe is a very difficult website to purchase tickets it s offers very affordable flight tickets however my flights was cancelled twice after receiving a confirmation email I am very disappointed as this was not the first time The customer service was really friendly however they could not assist me into buying a flight without getting cancelled I recommend buying from an different website if you are looking to buy an next day flight

Can t see any significant discounts after signing up I have just given away my details in the hope of unlocking exclusive discounts and promo codes The prices stay the same Cheaper tickets and deals can be found on SkyScanner Such a scam

I have contacted you regarding a cancelled flight The email response stated you will contact me within 48 hours and I have heard nothing and it s now been 5 days I m stuck in the Philippines waiting to leave but your assistance has been lack lustre New flights are available from the airline after I contacted them directly but was informed that I cannot make any changes only the booking agent can Also my name has been incorrectly forwarded to the airline My first name and middle name have been put together as one name and not separated Hoping to hear from you soon regarding these matters

An app that claims it cant connect to the internet a website that cant send itineraries a contact team that never contacts incorrect baggage information faulty data passed on to the airline if it weren t for the cheap prices they might as well close the doors

Gave it 2 stars for my journey last year which was booked smoothly however the website and app are both incredibly buggy I have been trying to book a ticket for the past week but the app crashes once i finish filling the traveller information in meanwhile the website crashes and takes me back to the search place every time i click on a ticket Fix this as soon as possible and stop wasting people s time

Used Student Universe alot in the past Looked online for seats from US to manchester on student universe com These were for my son Found good prices and son tried to book but he couldn t book online so my son telephoned customer services to question what was happening as the flights were for him and was flying from the states They stated to him flights seen online no longer available however other seats are available same flights but guess what 150 dollars more expensive Stupidly he believed the person and booked Looked after booking only to find out when looking online the cheaper prices and same flight still showing on website Telephoned customer services next morning as it was late at night now and he had not received confirmation and money debited from credit card He mentioned the situation being charged more even though same flights and cheaper prices still showing He was told - nothing i can do and he got nowhere Very disappointing answer and trust lost in student universe and customer service Still don t understand why the online price flight wasn t the same as online He has finally received confirmation of booking and thankfully all in order for my son and wife s journey - but lesson learned and wouldn t recommend or book with them again Would go direct to airline
