This is a decent app will hopefully improve in the future Unfortunately we did not get to make any videos that went live Please be warned their UI UX is not easy to navigate and if you are looking to leave the app you need to contact their billing department It took us over 1 week before we took a chance and sent a message to their billing department to request cancellation In their defence - they do have a process to close delete your account under settings but does not provide a refund option if you do this Oh and most importantly they do not abide by the UK Consumer Act Refund rules Update - 5 Jan 2020After copying the whole leadership about the issue They finally decided to issue the refund

A useful Synthesia webinar without significant benefits
The Synthesia webinar was of limited use a small number of interesting enhancements spread over too long a period by effective presenters who sometimes seem keener on laughing at each other s witticisms than delivering added value to their audience Overall Synthesia continues to deliver a technically sophisticated product but with a clear emphasis on limiting deliverables to lower-tier clients as a means of upselling to their enterprise product

Good but not great yet
It s a great tool but there is still quite a lot of work to be done before I d replace proper videos with these The avatars are diverse in terms of ethnicity but most people look like an office worker which when you re building videos representing low SES populations it doesn t resonate Also the Aus voices aren t very good Most sound like original Siri I ll continue to use but sparingly
