I bought a Red Velvet and I feel disappointed

I got a Red Velvet cake and it was not what I expected The pastry was super dry it tasted like an old cake and the cream didn t have a nice flavour The cake was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and we felt really disappointed

The birthday cake Never arrived

The birthday cake I ordered last saturday at taartenwinkel nl to my son never arrived I was supposed to get a track and trace link Which I never received I tried to call but Customer support is closed on Saturday Never shop there

Destroyed cake

The cake is meant for my son s birthday party It was delivered by a normal truck No special good packaging The top was destroyed so now I have to run to buy slagroom and chocolate pieces to find the way to fix it Def not a task I want to take last minute

Cake was not good

I have ordered a cake with a photo printed on it The cake arrived in the last minute the tracking code provided by delivery company was useless because it was showing the delivery time which was postponed every 10 minute therefore didn t provide any clarity at all about when exactly to expect the cake The biggest disappointment was that the photo which we asked to print on the cake was printed more on the side of the cake what ruined the whole meaning of the print The cake taste was very average it had only a lot of dough and plain cream Strawberries on the cake were green not red

No Death by chocolate

Ordered the vegan pastry which included all 4 types of the vegan cakes I couldn t decide which flavour I wanted most so I went for bit of all Honestly was very excited for the chocolate one and to my surprise that one wasnt included at all I was very disapointed so I called They said that the chocolate one had run out I understand that such things can happen but a notification beforehand via email or through phone would have been appreciated so that I wouldn t be so let down ON MY FREAKING BIRTHDAY

On-time delivery

Punctual delivery everything as ordered well done But the cake did not look much like in the picture I would not trust it again

Wrong cake but a quick fix

The wrong cake arrived on the day but they have araged a replacement relatively quick The manager who resolved the situation deserves the five star but due to the fact that the first cake was wrong and the birthday surprise was spoiled I will give it a three stars The cake was tasty

Great taste but hit and miss experiences

Two bad experiences in a row My first order was for 12 cupcakes to be sent over I received no confirmation email and the delivery driver arrived a hour earlier then I had arranged with no notice via phone or email which lead me to not receive my order This however was fixed after a phone call and new cupcakes were sent out the day after the event I wanted them for My Girlfriends birthday is today so I ordered a cake last week to make sure it would arrive today I knew with me having issues in the past I should call to make sure all would go well I spoke with a lady over there and confirmed the date to be today within the time slot of 9am - 2pm it has not arrived Today I called again to see what the issue might be and the order had been set by them for Thursday of this week Two days after the event I specifically called and ordered for The company is going to refund the money to me as they should do but I have given them two chances now and repeatedly they have dropped the ball and now has left me without a cake for my girlfriends birthday Although the products they do make are nice the issues they constantly display tells me that I must use other services in the future other than theirs if I actually want to get my orders on the days I ask for them to arrive UPDATE After my order was refunded Taartenwinkel reached out to me personally and arranged the cake to be sent to me on the same evening for my girlfriends birthday Along with the refund they really went out of their way to remedy this situation Very appreciated
