About the Artist
Taioba is a Copenhagen-based tattoo artist and calligrapher who moved to Denmark from Brazil over 20 years ago. Tattooing has been a core part of their practice for more than three decades. In 2014, calligraphy became an important influence, adding new rhythm and clarity to the work. Studies with mentor Ivan Castro in Barcelona further shaped an approach rooted in form, flow, and precision.
