Shockingly Unproffessional

Absolutely shocking service from Kevin from the moment we engaged him to provide our garage door We renovated our whole house and converted the garage into a type of mudroom for the dogs He called to the house three separate times to take measurements and discuss what we wanted On the first occasion he wouldn t even talk to our builder even though the builder was in charge of the build and structure so could answer any questions about finish etc We requested a fully insulated secure door ordering extra locks etc After 5 months of delays poor to no communication including ghost emails our door was thrown up and we were then informed about the suppliers boo-boo and the extra locks we requested didn t arrive We were offered money off but this wasn t the point someone who cared about the end finish would have ensured that the extra locks had been sent or could provide them on the day from one of the other suppliers within Ireland - this wasn t even offered In addition when I raised the issue of the door being half a centimeter too short and having gaps at the top he pointed the finger at the builder and said he didn t know what way the build was to be finished BULL His answer was then after condescendingly using air quotes about the fact that it was a garage door was well I ll just take it out We got married last week and had to cancel the photographer coming to the house to take photos due to the delays So now we are left to find another solution after what can only be described as a shambolic and distressing interaction with Tara Garage Doors I would not recommend for the service alone - the Hormann products are available through many other providers
