Liars and cheats

They lied to us about our hand luggage allowance This added 96 to the cost of our holiday Be very careful with this company Richard Soloman was the man who lied to us by omitting information during the booking process You will see that Teletext Holidays have put a sympathetic response below nothing has been done to remedy the situation

Stay well clear of these people it s now ran through a call centre in Indian Although they advertise as a package holiday company this is far from the truth I booked in august and was contacted directly by Ryan stating my flights had changed and the holiday was cut short by a day After contacting their customer services department I was told that my problem and they can t help I am now in the process of trying to get my deposit back

I ve just booked and paid for a holiday with teletext holidays - only to receive a call minutes later to say they would like an extra 300 as the room was no longer available This was despite them checking that flights and the hotel were available prior to taking payment Very poor service now awaiting refund Further - received a call again asking for me to pay more and if I definitely want a refund - if this is how they operate it is the last place I would use to book a holiday - it seems like the We Buy Any Car of holidays 24 10 24 - Thank you for your generic reply When can I expect a response

For peace of mind do not book with Teletext I booked a holiday in November for travel in December for my mum The agent was very rude and pushy to the point where I hung up and blocked the number They then proceeded to call my mum s number had the number from the booking details Eventually against my better judgement we went ahead with the booking - transfers and flights included My mum arrived in Lanzarote at approx 10pm to be told there is no hotel booking for her Hotel were fabulous in trying to help find out what s happened - teletext booked the hotel for 17th Dec 2025 - yes a year away The emergency number on documents couldn t wouldn t help and were ok with leaving a pensioner to sleep in the lobby despite clearly being able to see the error Had to pay the hotel for one night stay and pray that we could sort out the next morning - 90e cost Next morning 6 hours of to and fro but finally sorted however one day of holiday wasted - when originally booking she only wanted 10 days however they pushed to an 11 day holiday Extra cost obvs Now the hotel was absolutely fabulous Nazaret Sol but on the final morning a 4am pick up the transfer to the airport didn t show despite confirming with the hotel the night before Hotel booked a taxi for her and another 40e I can t bare the thought of having to call teletext hols to get a refund They are pushy patronising and arrogant Please be warned you will end up paying more

Dreadfully experience

Dreadfully experience Feel I ve been overcharged Nearly 200 for a 23kilo bag and a transfer but teletext refused to provide a breakdown of charges Called and emailed scores of times but constantly ignored or didn t return calls or emails Took 7 days to get booking confirmation after repeated calls Staff pleasant enough but a rubbish outfit Will never use again So 5 days have past and no call from your sales advisors Another 2 weeks later and after my holiday and a promise of a resolution and no call back from Teletext

Ripped off paid over the odds

Ripped off paid over the odds Ended up getting my own accommodation after pay 940 my accommodation in LAGUNA park Door wouldn t lock cockroachs everywhere Checked apparent two days later Door still not fixed after reporting it to reception twice Handed my keys in early and also had to get taxi to airport another 50 euros Was misleading information about the location ripped of something shocking stay clear of teletext holidays wish I had read reviews before hand

Absolute shambles

Update - over a month later and I am still waiting for a refund - they called me on 20 12 to confirm the account funds were to be returned to and was assured that the refund would be with me in 5 business days and still nothing Emails unanswered impossible to get through on the phone Finally spoke to someone and was promised the funds would be returned the next business day - shocker still nothing Absolute shambles The price shown on the website is never what you are quoted When you do get a price and go back 10 minutes later the price has increased and then magically after you kick up a stink they magically manage to get back to the price they previously quoted you Once they quote you there is extreme pressure to book with countless phone calls however when you ask for a call back you hear nothing The whole experience seemed sketchy and I ended up having no confidence in them whatsoever

I can t believe this company still

I can t believe this company still operates as it went bankrupt couple of years ago owe me over 1000 pound and so lots of other people please be aware of this company I did ring them They said that s a different company but everything still the same ie website they are scammers please be aware do a good Google search on them and find out for yourself

I booked a holiday in 2020 My holiday was cancelled Over 2000 Company went into liquidation After numerous phone calls and unanswered emails I can t believe this company is running again under the same name ABSOLUTELY disgusting DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING they say They owe hundreds and thousands to innocent people Please please read the reviews

I will never book another holiday with

I will never book another holiday with teletext Holidays I received an email stating that my holiday is being cancelled with immediate effect because I hadn t paid the outstanding balance as of 17th December 2024 The reason why is because I have an email stating it didn t have to be paid until the 3rd of February 2025 I phoned on the 17th and spoke to Alfie who told me he sent emails about the balance which each time I phoned and told them I had the date of the 3rd of February 2025 Also he said he phoned me on a number of occasions and left messages which they hadn t because it turns out they had someone else s mobile number I think it is disgusting how this was handled If I could I wouldn t give this company a 1 star
