I have received a partial refund on 16 12 2020- still money outstanding Did anyone else Just an update for those reading my review my family I received the remaining amount the following day 17 12 2020 so that s a full refund received now- there is hope Bitter sweet after all the stress untold hours of time wasted trying to get the refund nonetheless there are still so many people still waiting

Not worth the stress

Any potential savings that they offer seem negated by the awful customer service post-booking Hours waiting for service and an inability to help Customer Service operators presumably in distant call centres keep you placated and then offer to call you back the next day Three-times now they have failed to do so and I will have to spend hours waiting to speak to them again Not worth the trouble

I spoke with Nicolas at teletext

I spoke with Nicolas at teletext customer service after waiting over two weeks for my booking confirmation he was able to send it to me instantly Although I asked to speak to Calvin he was able to send me through the documents I required Thereafter I asked him if my rooms could be upgraded 5 hours later still no call back Let s just say I made a mistake booking through teletext every call handler doesn t listen to the problem they just say I understand robotic to say the least Pay a little more and go else where

Teletext holidays are an absolute

Teletext holidays are an absolute nightmare one that I will never ever use again But today after finding out my flights had been cancelled yet again and ringing to ask what happens now after being on hold for Over 1 hour and 20 minutes I was finally told the whole holiday has been cancelled and to expect a long wait for my refund But thank you Yamini who eventually managed to get it sorted Let s see how long I wait to get my refund

Still waiting for a refund from teletext 8 months later I had some money last month but not the flights money I have previously rung and emailed with no refund at the end Call handler Srini had such a heavy accent that I couldnt understand and had to keep asking him to repeat He promised the money would be in my account end of the month Hmm heard that before never again with Teletext for me

3rd time lucky

I initially tried to book this early evening Friday I was told someone would ring me back in 30 40mins no one did Tried calling again and spoke to a young man with an attitude who was so rude I hung up 3rd time lucky on Saturday morning with a very polite professional young man who got everything I needed sorted out I did struggle with the accents of everyone I spoke to as they did with me too Thanks

Kate was very helpful in telling me my booking would be cancelled The best agent I have been in touch with the rest have been very painful when trying to move dates etc But 2 weeks on and no confirmation the holiday has been cancelled and no follow on phone call as promised Woeful customer service you should be ashamed

Done very good by samson as pressured to do so whilst on the phone with him However if i was from india and i am no way been racist here It is very difficult for them to understand what is required from a customer They are hopeless in checking flights or dealing with any flight issues I requested luggage in hold but still not sure got that till arrive at the airport I have learnt the hard way and for a short break away DO IT MYSELF i will not be using teletext holidays ever again

Finally got my holiday sorted This is the 3rd time that I have called and the 3rd email I have sent regarding my holiday My flights were cancelled a few weeks ago and it was not until today that you have confirmed that I will be refunded and started the process to get me a refund Well done Barbara for confirming that this would happen

Concerns

Had a look at their website holidays and found a reasonably priced holiday However when I rang Teletext to book they said the price has gone higher I understand that there can be live price fluctuations but the difference in price was a couple of hundred pounds I then asked if I could pay the low deposit of 25 per person this was highlighted on their website - a real selling point I was told No I had to pay the full cost of the flights totally 600 plus
