I HAD A GUY WHO SAID HIS NAME WAS MAXIM FROM TELETEXT HOLIDAYS ALLEGEDLY WITH A PHONE NUMBER 0330 380 0888 PUSHING ME TO TAKE THE HOLIDAY I WAS LOOKING AT I SAID I WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO MY WIFE 1ST BUT HE KEPT ON OFFERING ME THIS REDUCTION AND ROOM UPGRADE AMONG OTHER THINGS I SAID IF MY WIFE WANTS THIS HOLIDAY I WILL PHONE HIM LATER WHEN MY WIFE COMES HOME ABOUT 2 3 HRS LATER HE CALLED BACK AFTER I SAID I WOULD CALL HIM IF I WANTED THE HOLIDAY SO I HUNG UP AND NEXT THING I GOT AN E-MAIL SAYING THIS WAS A SCAM NUMBER SO IF I HAD OF WENT AHEAD WITH THE BOOKING MY BANK ACCOUNT WOULD HAVE BEEN EMPTIED SO WATCH IF YOU BOOK WITH THIS SCAMMER NOW I M NOT SAYING NOT TO BOOK WITH TELETEXT HOLIDAYS BUT LOOKOUT FOR SCAMS

The price on the website is not the actual price When you call up they will tell you that it s not available and the live price is much higher Their argument is that the website clearly says from I did not change or add anything to the deal but still got told the price had significantly increased They try to pressure you into going ahead straight away like many sales people and then demand half of the money up front as a deposit In order to help secure the sale they were happy to negotiate a smaller deposit This made me suspicious so I asked for their Atol number which the official Atol website says was an invalid number Then I typed in their domain trading name Teletext holidays ltd and Teletext Travel Ltd Neither of which are registered They may be registered under a different name or number but this experience has made me really uncomfortable

I spoke with Neil who was friendly and helpful when it came to sorting our holiday needs We ended up coming to an agreement which suited our needs and booked immediately thank youUPDATE see most recent update for accurate review I was kind with my initial review because I know business is business but it reached a point where I couldn t ignore the issues

They give me a price on the phone after I paid and was waiting for confirmation they call me again and they said that the price is higher spent half a day to request a refund Not recommended at all better other websites where you can do everything on the website with no hidden cost

Terrible experience never again will I book via this company They book us onto the wrong flight Told us it was 17hrs in total when it was actually 22hrs I also paid extra to have the shorter flight No help with check in as couldn t access this online Never again So stressful and completely ruined my holiday experience I definitely learned my lesson booking via them

The price difference between the website and the call centre is ridiculous You need to add on your bags and transfer to the basic price then to add insult to injury if you want a better flight time that gets added to So my basic 10 day all-inclusive holiday went from 580 to 850 in a matter of seconds then had the cheek to say I wouldn t find it cheaper as I m a solo traveller well guess what I did find it cheaper 720 for the exact deal elsewhere UPDATE so why not include this in the total price As far as I m concerned how can luggage and transfers be extras You need luggage for a holiday aswell as transfers Should be include in a package holiday like it use to be not show one price then bump it up massively 2 minutes later

This company made so many mistakes with our booking it was an awful start to our holiday 1 we couldnt find our transfer at the airport in tenerife we were getting help from the airport staff at the private taxi booths nobody knew the name of the company it was not on our paperwork and we wasted over 1 hr looking for them We gotanother taxi to the hotel 2 the hotel wasnt the one i booked with teletex that was also wrong our paperwork showed Laguna park 2 which was on a steep hill and didnt have a disability bathroom I have a walking disability and couldn t have used a wheelchair 3 we spent 2 days trying to get moved to a more suitable hotel in Las Americas but non could be found So they moved us one and a half hours away north to Puerta de la Cruz we wanted ti be in Las Americas 4 our private taxi transfer had not been changed over to the new location so we wouldn t have had enough time to catch our flight in the south more phone call to straighten that out DATE OF EXPERIENCE WAS JAN 16-18

How this company is still going after scamming thousands of people and illegally keeping their money from cancelled holidays after covid is baffling I had to take them to court to get back 3 5k that they would have kept if I hadn t Your rebranding does not change that you are a completely immoral company

Booked a family holiday and referred 2 other groups wanting to come along with us who also booked via Teletext holidays Unfortunately we suffered a bereavement of a femily member booked on the holiday and Teletext holidays refused to cancel that place or even transfer into somebody else s name Extremely tough time for everyone and this just added to our distress Will never use Teletext holidays again Complete lack of customer care or empathy I ll never book with them again

Never book with teletext holidays you re ripped off ignored don t get what you pay for it s the worst company out They take cash for tacos book cheap shuttle bus do not book here it will be nothing but stress
