Poor Telkom Cell Tower Coverage
Telkom you can t expect us to pay for services that is limited I am residing in Ga-Luka Rustenburg and your network is horrible I am buying data which is no use to me because of your horrible network Kindly add more cell towers to meet the needs of your clients This issue has been active from 2011 and yet you call yourself best ISP Invest in your clients needs or you will loose rest of them

If I could I would give Telkom a zero Their so-called WIFI is not true Wifi it is below 25 mbps most of the time and has been going down to 18 or even 5 lately I have complained 5 days ago and all i have is a support ticket number NO RESOLUTION STILL Previously it was very bad and they fixed it saying they would follow up to see how it is going That was never done either They also cancelled my SIM because I do not buy airtime Not all of us are rich I needed the phone to call Telkom since I cannot call from the router obviously to complain now I can only email Cancelling a SIM is illegal since such conditions were not printed on the SIM package Their Telkom shop has taken months to open as well Pathetic

I had the worst experience Telkom Insurance this year I lost my my phone in April this year and put in a claim At first they didn t proceed with my claim saying that they dint recognize the device that I lost on their system and that i should give them proof that the device was insured with them I had paid for this device s insurance for over 3 years and when I had to claim I was expected to produce proof and they did not accept the invoice after months of going back and forth they finally approved the claim and requested an excess fee which I paid Last month and to this day I still have not received the phone I sent emails following up on the delivery and my email address has now been blocked I would not choose this company s insurance ever again

My sons phone was booked in for repairs in December 2023 at telkom wesgate mall mitchells plain cape town and 5 months later still no phone what a mockery They don t even give updates until you make a scene and get angry its absolutely disgusting the manager and his staff needs 5 years hard training and even after that i don t think they will be able to Handle clients accordingly Whats a terrible and disappointing experience

Terrible network coverage and internet
Terrible network coverage and internet speed A waste of time and money getting Fibre from Telkom In less than 2 years my contract fee was unilaterally increased 3 times I am now paying double the fee that I signed up for and Telkom justifies it with hidden fine print that was never provided to me when I took the contract On top of that instead of getting 25 mbps internet speed I am getting 0 5 which is absolutely useless

I lost my cellphone last made a claim with them they are the worst insurance ever bad service incompetent They don t even call back they let you call them they reply with automatic massage on their email and I have not being helped till now they saying fill the form you fill take picture of the box you do and know the tell the are waiting for eIEM when it s the on the box and on the form I regret the day I have signed up with them
