Some instructors can t teach

Good start but later on some instructors can t speak understandable English struggling to explain the lessons They might have good QA background but not all can be good instructors How can you learn when you can t understand them Did I set myself up for failure by attending this school Ask other students to give their honest feedback as well Also the class is too big that they assign you in a group led by previous students volunteers I wish I could get a refund at this point

They don t respond to customers

At first before paying for the course they were accommodating Then they sent a contract with a past date I tried in every possible way to contact them via e-mail by phone through social networks but they absolutely did not answer anywhere After that I decided not to contact them and with great difficulty got my money back If they could communicate normally with their clients at least respond to them then I would learn from them

Our whole department got fired in 1

Our whole department got fired in 1 day They fired 95 of sales department staff in 1-2 days without any advance notice and this follows the company now suffers from lack of funds They keep firing the rest of the staff from other departments have problems with payment systems warning to shut them off from their services and rearrange the program to be less comfortable for students and lacking good teaching The teachers are great it s the consequences of greedy and arrogant company authorities They didn t even pay everything they must pay to fired workers because we all worked remotely from different countries and we can t do much from our countries to bring Test Pro to justice Please avoid their courses if you feel you wanna buy now and study later or you don t like the courses now - get your money back as soon as possible as the company is slowly falling apart from lack of funds you may not return your money if Test Pro announces bankruptcy To people considering taking courses in this company - please choose another company don t support their actions towards all workers that got fired without their payments They make 100 exuses to avoid paying off their salaries And if you try to discuss your payment - they block you Edit 1 they just said this review is made by competitors xD shouldn t have wasted my time and my skill on people like these disrespectful founders I hope my review will help all potential students and teachers to at least think twice before dealing with Denis Platonov and Azat Zakuanov

Be aware - the good reviwes are to get free mentoring

Don t let all the good reviews fool you it is widely told to students that if they give positive reviews on multiple platforms they will receive free hours for additional mentoring essentially the reviews are paid reviews Overall it s a bootcamp Expect to learn 2years worth of info in 9wks Good info to know but it moves very fast leaving you with little time to really learn and retain the info So in the end students will need to post the good reviews to get more free time with a mentor to make sure they re ready for the real deal interviews Is it worth the price Probably not bec they tell you to google alot if you need more help thats free You may have team leads who aren t the most knowledgeable either bec team leads are just students they asked to lead in the next cohort as if they have become experts after 9wks Is it a good way to enter for non techies Sure bec you learn new stuff But be aware that if you are starting with no qa tech knowledge it s going to be overwhelming and you ll have maybe a day or 2 to learn practice retain before you move into something bigger more complex would I pick testpro over another bootcamp Not sure bec I ve only done this one based on that you should get a certificate in the end and they claimed to be more credible than others If they had more organization maybe pushed the bootcamp out a couple more was for the more complex info this would be a lot better Even their internship practice course is super unorganized and that is where they tell you to practice practice practice to add experience to your resume but how when its not organized to make sense Internship starts whenever it starts and they drop you into the middle of it so the team is already advanced when youre just coming from the class and now youre weeks behind the rest of the internship team With tech laying off people right now and you learning so much info you d want to be very prepared and this may not give you everything to really land a job compared to some who has actual experience To each its own but be aware that these good reviews aren t sharing everything bec good reviews get you FREE mentoring after the 1 free mentor session that comes with your enrollment

Current student in Manual QA bootcamp

The price for the program I think is fair It is annoying that this program is NOT self paced For me that would mean that all content quizzes reading material videos homework is open upon the first day of class or each section will open as the student completes the one prior It is 9 weeks of instruction followed by a 4 week internship that Test Pro will place you in I think the professors seem very eager to teach and are excited for the students Which is wonderful I think admissions needs to do a lot better I signed up having been told still have the emails as proof that I could start January 7 because I am due to have a baby in 6 weeks So now I have to get through this program and take care of a newborn I have 3 degrees 2 Associates of Science 1 Bachelor of Science and a semester of Graduate School through traditional colleges So through past experience I assumed this admissions person was just as knowledgeable as you d find at a traditional college university sadly I was mistaken When the contract came through to sign I pointed out the start date of October 8 saying I thought you told me I could start January 7 the admissions person brushed it off saying I could indeed start January 7 Again big mistake This person knew what was going on and why I needed a later start date I was mislead and that is horrible
